1991 Porsche 964 Turbo

Lot # 125 (Sale Order: 26 of 52)

1991 Porsche 964 Turbo

  • Rare 964 Factory Turbo
  • Books Records, COA
  • 17? Cup Wheels
  • Tool Roll and Air Pump

Back in the 70?s, the traditional 930 Turbos were regarded as cars to be driven hard by ?Experts Only? due to their twitchy oversteer handling characteristics and severe turbo lag. Introduced in March of 1990 and sold as a 1991 model year, the new and improved version 964, was a bit more domesticated and dubbed ?The People?s 911 Turbo? Although the normally aspirated 911 received the new 3.6 litre displacement motor, the 1991 964 still retained the old 3.3 litre intercooled turbocharged flat six, however with slight more horse power and torque. The interior also received some plush refinements, most noticeable being the contoured door panels and full length console.

This Guards Red 964 is in immaculate condition. The exterior paint has a showroom finish and the black leather interior smells like new. The interior also features fully electric and heated seats and an aftermarket stereo CD radio. A recent service makes this low mileage 964 start and run very well. This red Porsche 964 offers all the status and cachet of flashy Italian exotic, yet it has better performance, more reliability and solid German engineering. This is a recipe for great fun which can be enjoyed every day.

1993 Porsche 928 GTS

The 928 model line began in 1977, as it first appeared at the Geneva Auto Show. With 911 sales in a slump and concerns over the current air-cooled mainstay not meeting US emission, the conceptualized 928 was looking as a possible replacement for the 911. Porsche AG?s then chairman, Herr Fuhrmann decided to try something different, and together with Ferry Porsche pushed forward as they approved the development of their new grand tourer. Over the decades, the 928 went through several evolutions in its 18-year run. Some of these running changes included larger displacement engines, wheels, suspension enhancements as well as interior and exterior cosmetics. The final version, the GTS model was the best of the best, and was introduced in 1993. This AutoBahn Blitzer utilizes a 5.4 litre 4 valve engine rated at 350 hp with sport suspension, wide Cup wheels, Cup mirrors, front and rear spoilers and bulgy rear fender wells. The 928 has often been described as the ?German Muscle Car?

Offered here is an excellent example of Porsche?s original luxury Grand Touring car in elegant Grand Prix White with a tan leather interior and optional rear air conditioning. The special order automatic transmission makes it a delight to drive for both ladies and men alike. The final evolution of the German engineered 928 GTS combines the sporty handling of the 911 with the high speed road manors of a GT touring car and the luxury and refinements of top-of-the-line luxury saloons. The GTS is truly a forthright GT car by all definitions.

1986 Porsche 930 Turbo

Lot # 129 (Sale Order: 30 of 52)

1986 Porsche 930 Turbo

AUCTION ESTIMATE $125,000 ? $175,000

  • Pristine original Condition
  • 20,210 Actual Miles
  • Documented Ownership History
  • Prussian Blue, Blue Full Leather interior
  • Platinum Painted Fuchs Wheel Centers
  • Sunroof, Sport Seats, Limited Slip

The production model turbo charged 911 came about when Porsche originally needed to produce a car in order to comply with homologation regulations intended for FIA?s requirements to race the new 911 Turbo Carrera RSR in 1974. Porsche had to build at least 400 street cars, so production began and in 1975 the first 911 Turbo (internal reference 930) rolled out the doors at Zuffenhausen. The Porsche 911 Turbo is the most iconic of the 911 series production cars. It set the benchmark for all other production supercars to follow. This nimble and potent teutonic missile could hold its own on any road course, street or race with the more powerful and larger displacement competitors. Initially offered with a 3 litre flat six was coupled to a bulletproof 4 speed and rated at 250 horsepower, and after two years, in 1978 Porsche raised the displacement to 3.3 litres and added an innercooler thus increasing the horsepower to 300 in full European trim. In 1979, the 930 ceased coming to the USA due to emissions, after a 6 year hiatus, the 930 reappeared on the order form for the US market.

This two owner, low mileage Porsche 930 was a special-order car purchased new at Sunwest Porsche Audi Volkswagen in St. Petersburg Florida by a local car aficionado and collector. It was ordered in March of 1986, built in May of 1986 and delivered in August of 1986. This highly optioned Porsche is finished in rare factory Prussian blue with a corresponding dark blue full leather interior. The factory options included factory semi power sport seats, sunroof, stereo cassette radio, right hand mirror, limited slip differential and special order platinum painted center Fuchs wheels. The car was lowered at the dealership at the time of delivery and has been pampered ever since. The first owner owned the car up until 1999 and sold the car with only 12,000 miles on it. The car was garage kept and driven mostly on weekends and to various PCA events around the state of Florida. Here is an opportunity to own a legendary Porsche in a rare color combination that would stand out and be a conversation piece at any Porsche event.

The little Teutonic family owned automobile company deep in the in the ?Schwarzwald? of Schwabenland that built and raced some of the most successful cars in history continued their producing their notorious 911 sports car. 1971 Porsche 911 T ? GARAGE FIND!

Lot # 143 (Sale Order: 44 of 52)

1971 Porsche 911 T ? Garage Find! Stored for over 20 years!

AUCTION ESTIMATE $ 65,000 ? $75,000

  • True ?Garage Find?
  • Mostly Original Paint
  • Fuchs Wheels, Sort Seats
  • Mechanical Rebuild
  • Certificate of Authenticity

It?s interesting how Porsche People fall into categories. You have the diehard 356 guys, the early long hood 911 purists and the short hood fans and then there are the Nuevo Porsche enthusiasts. Or, it?s the air cooled vs. water cooled. Any way you slice it, the original 911 (long-hood) Porsche is the father of all contemporary Porsches.

This early long hood Porsche is a true ?Garage Find?. It still wears most of its original light Ivory exterior paint. The body is straight and virtually rust free with its original trim and decals still affixed to the exterior of the car. The black interior is again, mostly all original and benefits from a new recovered set of Porsche style Sports seats. This car was not abused, the speedometer displays a little over 74,000 miles, the interior shows the right amount of wear; minor crazing on the shift knob, slight wear on the door panels and some fading on square weave carpeting. The interior also sports an aftermarket leather wrapped steering wheel and a working period correct AM/FM radio. Tires are new and the car?s 2.2 litre flat six has had a recent mechanical service. This early 911 is ready for some casual country motoring or some spirited club driving. A car is original only once. This 911 is a real survivor and has just the right amount of patina that it tells a story, it has a soul and a spirit, something perhaps a true Porsche-phile can appreciate.

The car that started the craze was the refined Porsche 356 Cabriolet. Since its inception with the ?America Roadster? Porsche has produced open cars. 1975 Porsche 930 Turbo

Lot # 147 (Sale Order: 48 of 52)

1975 Porsche 911 Turbo

Auction Estimate $70,000 ? $85,000

  • Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 Litre
  • Speed Yellow, Black Leather Sport Seats
  • 930S Bodywork, B&B Sport Exhaust
  • Speedline Style Wheels
  • Theft Recovery, Titled as a 1975

Since the introduction of the Porsche 911 Turbo in 1975, they have been highly desirable. Since production for USA Turbo 930?s ceased in 1979 due to emissions, the influx of Euro-cars that were imported through privateers between 1980 and 1985 known as ?Grey Market? flourished. It wasn?t just Porsches, but grey market Mercedes?s, Astons, Ferrari?s and Lamborghini?s also benefited from this phenomenon, and the yearning for the highly prized exotics was quenched.

This Speed Yellow 911 Turbo is believed to have started life as a 1983 European ?Grey Market? Import. Somewhere down the line it was liberated from one of its prior owners and subsequently recovered by law enforcement and reissued a New York State Vehicle Identification number (Theft Recovery, Rebuilt or assigned Vin number and Title). The car is now refinished with ?930S? bodywork; front air-dam valance, boxed rockers, vented quarter-panels, trim delete rear bumper, Euro headlights, rear Euro amber lenses, B&B sport exhaust and Speedline style wheels. The interior is black leather with matching yellow piping, yellow face gauges, 200 mph speedometer, later factory Porsche sport seats and aftermarket leather steering wheel. The 3.3 litre innercooled flat six runs out strong and holds steady at 160mph. If you want a unique and fast Porsche, with an even more interesting story that will amaze your friends, don?t miss the opportunity to make this, your next car.

1986 Porsche 944 Turbo

Lot # 148 (Sale Order: 49 of 52)

1986 Porsche 944 Turbo

Auction Estimate $65,000 ? $75,000

? Porsche 944 Turbo, 9700 miles

? Window Sticker, COA

? Guards Red over Champagne

? Owner?s Manual and Tools

? Blaupunkt Radio, 5 Spd manual

The Porsche 944 was an entry level front engine Porsche targeted for younger Porsche enthusiasts, it also replaced the earlier 924 and 924 Turbo models. They were nearly half the price of a loaded Porsche 911. In 1985, Porsche introduced the 220hp 944 Turbo with a 2.5 litre inline 4 cylinder engine. This was a very well balanced and forgiving car with smooth consistent performance and great road manors. They were very popular among PCA club racers and auto-crossers.

The 944 presented here is in Guards Red over Champagne. This is a very original car with only 9700 miles showing on the odometer. The interior is loaded with factory options; leather seats, Blaupunk cassette radio and Monterey equalizer, electric sliding sunroof, Alpine security system, rear window defrost and Porsche floormats. At the time of purchase the purchaser also upgraded from 15? to factory 5 spoke 16? Fuchs wheels. This car is detailed to perfection and in excellent mechanical condition. Of these early 944 Turbo?s, approximately 7500 landed on American shores and they are very sought after among up and coming Neo Porschephiles.
