*HIGHLIGHT OF NIGHT* 1843-o Seated Liberty Quarter 25c Graded ms62+ By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 758 (Sale Order: 502 of 604)

***Auction Highlight*** 1843-o Seated Liberty Quarter 25c Graded ms62+ By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - Up for Auction is one of less than 10 Known mint State 184...more3-o Seated Quarters. Small O Variety. Despite a moderate mintage of nearly 1 million coins, the 1843-O is just as scarce in high grades as are most other pre-1853 Seated quarter issues. Mint State examples are distinctly rare, but when found, often exhibit remarkably sharp strikes. This Select example is an exceptional coin in that regard, with satiny luster beneath a veil of colorful and attractive toning. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

***Auction Highlight*** 1843-o Gold Liberty Half Eagle $5 Graded au58 details By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 762 (Sale Order: 506 of 604)

***Auction Highlight*** 1843-o Gold Liberty Half Eagle $5 Graded au58 details By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE AUCTION - Up for Auction is a Numismatic rarity, an Near un...morecirculated 1843-o Large Letters $5 Gold half Eagle. With less than 10 uncirculated examples known, locating one even close to unc can be quite the feat. This example is weakly struck in the centers, but don’t let strike fool you, as there is virtually no wear or rub on this near mint state example. Pleasing Yellow-gold color, but the lack of significant luster is the details designation. Still any near Mint State 1843-o is a coup to a serious gold collector and this coin would go nicely in an advanced collection.

ÓIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE MONTH - Up for Auction is one of the, if not the f...moreinest known o-111 Capped Bust Half Dolars. Handsome, richly toned surfaces are bathed in blended olive-charcoal and champagne-apricot and light to cobalt blue patina on the obverse & Reverse. Both sides exhibit razor sharp striking detail and billowy mint luster. The 1817 Overton-111 dies are plentiful in both their early and late states, although in MS-64 the coin offered here qualifies as Condition Census. Eagerly awaiting inclusion in an advanced Capped Bust half dollar variety set. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. *HIGHLIGHT OF ENTIRE AUCTION* 1904-s Barber Half Dollars 50c Graded Select+ Unc By USCG (fc)

Lot # 766 (Sale Order: 510 of 604)

***Auction Highlight*** 1904-s Barber Half Dollars 50c Graded Select+ Unc By USCG. HIGHLIGHT OF THE AUCTION - Up for Auction is the KEY to the Barber Half Dollar S...moreeries,the 1904-s. The 1904-S is the undisputed series rarity in Mint State grades, second only to the near-uncollectible 1892-O Micro O, a variety that many collectors exclude from their sets anyway. Ranking the 1904-S an R.6 in Mint State (population of 15-39 coins), David and John Feigenbaum say in The Complete Guide to Certified Barber Coinage, "1904-S is not only the scarcest regular issue in the half dollar set, but it also has a far lower population than the 1901-S quarter and 1895-O dime. Its rarity is usually not appreciated until you try to assemble a set and you can't find one, even after years of looking. Trying to purchase one at auction is an eye-opening experience."This Select example has swirling luster and delightful original amber-gold on the obverse and ice-blue on the reverse that complements the silver surfaces elsewhere. While a couple of slide marks and ticks on Liberty's cheek preclude a finer grade, the strike is bold, just short of full, and the eye appeal is over the top. Expect the bidding to be fierce, and act accordingly.

***Auction Highlight*** 1846/5-o Gold Liberty Eagle $10 Graded au58 By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 768 (Sale Order: 511 of 604)

***Auction Highlight*** 1846/5-o Gold Liberty Eagle $10 Graded au58 By SEGS. Variety 3. Designated as an 1846/5-O overdate, although most researchers believe that ...morethe "extra metal" within the 6 is caused by a defective date punch. The Guide Book, NGC, SEGS and PCGS continue to recognize the variety. This near-Mint example is softly struck detailed with bright yellow-gold patina. Scattered abrasions are not unusual for the issue. Any 1846-O eagle is a rarity this fine.

*HIGHLIGHT OF ENTIRE AUCTION* 1902-o NEAR TOP POP! Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms67 By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 769 (Sale Order: 512 of 604)

***Auction Highlight*** 1902-o NEAR TOP POP! Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms67 By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE AUCTION - Up for Auction is a 1902-o Morgan Dollar Near ...moreTOP POP, a Half point from the finest known. Only in the highest reaches of the grading scale does the 1902-O become scarce. An indifferent strike and numerous bagmarks limit the grade of most Mint State examples, as it does with other so-called Creole dollars from the New Orleans Mint. This splendid, high-end Superb Gem is an exception. Light golden toning blankets the otherwise lustrous & frosted surfaces. The strike weakens only slightly over Liberty's ear, and bagmarks are limited to a few tiny nicks at the top of Liberty's cap and the field beyond. The focal fields are smooth and free of any distractions whatsoever, as is Liberty's smooth cheek. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

1902 $10 National Currency Third Charter President McKinley The Commercial National & Savings Bank O

Lot # 770 (Sale Order: 513 of 604)

1902 $10 National Currency Third Charter President McKinley The Commercial National & Savings Bank Of LA, CA Grades vf, very fine. This note belongs to an importa...morent series of United States currency in that it is the last type note of National Bank Currency printed in the old larger size. At the beginning of the final charter of notes (1929) all the new notes are made in the new smaller size. This note also features the portrait of William McKinley 25th president of the United States, who had been shot and killed at the Pan-American Exposition just a few months before the first notes in this series were printed and released bearing his image. National bank notes are different from other nationally printed currency in that they are printed specifically for each individual chartered bank organization. This assisted greatly in creating a system of bank notes that were the same across the country. This aided in travelers knowing what they were spending and receiving in change, rather than the times when each bank and state printed their own currency with their own designs. The National Bank Note system was abandoned shortly after the changeover to smaller size notes in 1929, making the third charter notes the last truly used issue of this kind.

***Auction Highlight*** 1884-s vam 10 I2 R4 Morgan Dollar $1 Graded Select Unc By USCG (fc)

Lot # 773 (Sale Order: 516 of 604)

***Auction Highlight*** 1884-s vam 10 I2 R4 Morgan Dollar $1 Graded Select Unc By USCG. This is an attractive and desirable Uncirculated specimen of an eagerly sou...moreght Morgan dollar. It is boldly to sharply struck throughout with a very attractive appearance for the assigned grade. The 1884-S is one of the most famous condition rarities in the Morgan dollar series. Though 3.2 million pieces were struck -- a generous total for the type -- the vast majority were spent and spent again in local commerce, and today the typical grade may be EF or AU, with many survivors well below those grades. The scarcity and value of this issue increases exponentially in Mint State, where it becomes a significant challenge for advanced Morgan specialists. Clearly the present offering represents an important opportunity in today's market. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away Coin
