***Auction Highlight*** 1850-o Winter-2 Gold Liberty Eagle 10 Graded xf By USCG (fc)

Lot # 442 (Sale Order: 252 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1850-o Winter-2 Gold Liberty Eagle 10 Graded xf By USCG. Up for Auction is a very scare 1850-O Liberty Head Eagle, Winter-2 variety. Duste...mored with pale pinkish-silver tinting, this otherwise honey-gold example is boldly defined for an early New Orleans Mint ten with appreciable remnants of original luster. From a mintage for the issue of just 57,500 pieces, the vast majority of which saw heavy commercial use. Given the total lack of Mint State survivors, upper end circulated examples such as this are in high demand among serious Liberty Head eagle and New Orleans Mint enthusiasts. PCGS estimate that only 200 survive in all grades and only 1 mint state coin is known. WOW! A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away Coin
