***Auction Highlight*** 1843-o Seated Liberty Quarter 25c Graded ms62+ By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 703 (Sale Order: 382 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1843-o Seated Liberty Quarter 25c Graded ms62+ By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - Up for Auction is one of less than 10 Known mint State 184...more3-o Seated Quarters. Small O Variety. Despite a moderate mintage of nearly 1 million coins, the 1843-O is just as scarce in high grades as are most other pre-1853 Seated quarter issues. Mint State examples are distinctly rare, but when found, often exhibit remarkably sharp strikes. This Select example is an exceptional coin in that regard, with satiny luster beneath a veil of colorful and attractive toning. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

***Auction Highlight*** 1924-s Saint Gaudens $20 Gold Graded Select+ Unc By USCG (fc)

Lot # 706 (Sale Order: 385 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1924-s Saint Gaudens $20 Gold Graded Select+ Unc By USCG. Up for Auction is a Lustrous 1924-s Key Date Saint-Gaudens Gold $20 Double EagleD...moreelightful golden-orange surfaces display a bold strike and full, softly frosted luster. The 1924-S is one of several Saint-Gaudens double eagles from the 1920s and early 1930s that did not see widespread use in international commerce. Rather, most of the 2,927,500 coins struck remained in federal vaults until melted in 1937. Most of the few Mint State survivors represent coins that were exported at or near the time of issue and repatriated beginning circa 1950. This is a highly desirable Choice Uncirculated representative of this key date issue.

***Auction Highlight*** 1793 Wreath Vine & Bars S10 R4 Flowing Hair large cent 1c Graded au53 detai

Lot # 707 (Sale Order: 386 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1793 Wreath Vine & Bars S10 R4 Flowing Hair large cent 1c Graded au53 details By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT - Up for Auction is one of t...morehe first coins struck in our Fledgling nation, The 1793 Wreath Vine & Bars Flowing Hair Large Cent. This Choice AU Sheldon-10 Wreath Vine and Bars presents an attractive appearance overall, mostly a glossy reddish-brown. The border is thicker at the lower obverse, typical for this early Mint variety. The reverse is more sharply detailed overall, as usually seen, and some dark buildup appears around some of the leaves on that side. A few minor rim issues account for the details grade. The relief of the obverse face is remarkable, high well rounded. I have included an au50 and an au55for your comparison. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

Lot # 714 (Sale Order: 392 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1814 O-107 R2 Capped Bust Half Dollar 50c Graded ms64 By SEGS. Up for Auction is a very Lustrous 1814 o-107 Bust Half Dollar. Heavy clash ...moremarks are observed on both sides, though the design elements are boldly impressed. Tinges of light toning surround the peripheries, with mainly untoned silvery surfaces over the central regions. The luster is vibrant and undeniably original, with remarkably few abrasions. A highly appealing Choice example of this slightly better date. A small die lump in the N in UNITED aids in identifying the variety. ***Auction Highlight*** Pre 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar $1 Roll 20 Coins Bullion & Exchange Bank 1904 & 'O' Ends. This roll is held in an old Bullion & Exchange Ban...morek Carson City Nevada Wrapper. ***Auction Highlight*** 1860-p Gold Liberty Eagle $10 Graded BU+ By USCG (fc)

Lot # 717 (Sale Order: 394 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1860-p Gold Liberty Eagle $10 Graded BU+ By USCG. The 1860 is a moderately scarce date in higher circulated grades but it is rare and defin...moreitely overlooked in Uncirculated. It is likely that fewer than 10 pieces are accounted for in mint condition. Of those 10, only 1 grades ms64 and none others above ms62. The lone ms64 sett a record for the issue when it brought a strong $70,550 in the Stacks Bowers Americana Auction (2/2013), lot 2178. The last Uncirculated example, another ms61, sold in February of 2020 and realized $11,40. This impressive Mint State specimen exhibits nicely detailed design elements, aside from a touch of the usual softness on some of the stars. The yellow-orange surfaces retain much of their original mint luster and are appropriately marked for the grade. A true rarity, Tied for 3rd finest known. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

***Auction Highlight*** 1896-o Vam 16 R5 Morgan Dollar $1 Graded Select Unc By USCG (fc)

Lot # 725 (Sale Order: 398 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1896-o Vam 16 R5 Morgan Dollar $1 Graded Select Unc By USCG. Up for Auction is a Key Date 1896-o. Silvery and lightly toned obverse and fu...morelly untoned reverse. Minimally abraded surfaces, this appealing coin is worthy of a strong bid. A true condition rarity among Morgan dollars, the 1896-O is readily obtainable in worn condition yet scarce to rare in all Mint State grades. When we further consider that most Uncirculated survivors of this 4,900,000-piece issue are poorly struck with inferior luster, the present offering is sure to catch the eye of the discerning Morgan dollar collector. ***Auction Highlight*** 1895-p Gold Liberty Double Eagle $20 Graded Select+ Unc By USCG (fc)

Lot # 727 (Sale Order: 400 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1895-p Gold Liberty Double Eagle $20 Graded Select+ Unc By USCG. Up for Auction is a very lustrous and attractive 1895-p $20 Liberty Gold D...moreouble Eagle. The 1895-p is very scarce in higher grades. None have been graded higher than ms65. Gorgeous rose-orange patina mingles with fulsome satin luster on both sides of this beautiful choice uncirculated example. Nicely struck and nearly smooth enough to secure an even higher grade. Most Uncirculated coins are from repatriations of quantities that fled the country in the mid-1890s. The Treasury was required to keep at least $100,000,000 in gold coins on hand, but in February 1895 just $41,393,212 was in the coffers. Gold coins by the millions continued to be shipped overseas, however, as the value of silver was less than half that of gold and foreign traders insisted on payments in the yellow metal. President Grover Cleveland reached a deal with J.P. Morgan & Co. and August Belmont & Co. of New York, in cooperation with N.M. Rothschild & Sons of London, to offer a bond issue that yielded 4% interest over 30 years especially aimed at European gold dealers. The bond issue sold out in 22 minutes! By March 30, the Treasury reported $90 million on hand, with much more gold yet to arrive. Seemingly, J.P. Morgan and friends had saved the country. The specter of the government running completely out of gold coins passed! The typical owner of a Mint State 1895 double eagle today probably does not know of the near panic that occurred during its year of issue and the great clash between silver and gold interests that took place from the late 1870s through the mid-1890s. This was the great political question of the era, overwhelming everything else. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away Coin
