Lot # 102 (Sale Order: 56 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1872-cc Briggs 1-A Seated Liberty Quarter 25c Graded f15 By SEGS. A scant mintage of 22,850 pieces ensures the rarity of this Old West issu...moree. Full rims and dentils are seldom seen at the Fine grade level, since many lower-grade coins lack edge detail between 10 and 2 o'clock on the obverse. The reverse is likewise weak below the denomination. This Choice Fine example is an exception, with complete borders and exceptional detail for the grade. All of the raised elements show above-average definition for the grade. Rich-silver patina blankets both sides for sharp eye appeal, and there are no distracting marks or abrasions. The motto is fully readable, quite rare this nice. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away Coin

Lot # 104 (Sale Order: 57 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** PCGS 1902 $10 National Currency Third Charter President McKinley The First National Bank OF Racine Rare Bank Graded f15 By PCGS. The First ...moreNational Bank Of Racine in Ohio printed $201,600 dollars worth of national currency. That is a small output. National bank notes from here Are quite Scarce. This note belongs to an important series of United States currency in that it is the last type note of National Bank Currency printed in the old larger size. At the beginning of the final charter of notes (1929) all the new notes are made in the new smaller size. This note also features the portrait of William McKinley, who had been shot and killed at the Pan-American Exposition just a few months before the first notes in this series were printed and released bearing his image. National bank notes are different from other nationally printed currency in that they are printed specifically for each individual chartered bank organization. This assisted greatly in creating a system of bank notes that were the same across the country. This aided in travelers knowing what they were spending and receiving in change, rather than the times when each bank and state printed their own currency with their own designs. The National Bank Note system was abandoned shortly after the changeover to smaller size notes in 1929, making the third charter notes the last truly used issue of this kind.

***Auction Highlight*** 1793 Liberty Cap half cent 1/2c Graded vf20 details By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 108 (Sale Order: 61 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1793 Liberty Cap half cent 1/2c Graded vf20 details By SEGS. Up for Auction is the legendary Left facing 1793 Flowing Hair Half Cent. The ...moreLiberty Cap - Head Left design was used only in 1793 and, along with the 1793 Chain Cents, was one of the first coins struck at the U.S. Mint. This vf20 details example has good eye appeal for the grade and is a pleasing chocolate brown color. For a coin that can run into excess of $100,000 in mint state this vf20 details is a great opportunity to own a piece of history at an affordable cost. Lot # 109 (Sale Order: 62 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1891-o Morgan Dollar $1 Graded GEM+ Unc By USCG. Invariably found with a weak strike and sketchy eye appeal, the 1891-O dollar is rare in M...moreS65 and all but unknown any finer. This is an unquestioned Premium Gem example, starting with the strike, which is extremely bold for an 1891-O dollar. Just a bit of weakness remains over the ear, with nice detail on the eagle's breast. Eye appeal is outstanding, with brilliant-silver luster over the untoned, smooth surfaces and virtually no abrasions anywhere on the coin. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

Lot # 113 (Sale Order: 64 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1893-p Near TOP POP! Morgan Dollar $1 Graded ms66 By SEGS. HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT – Near TOP POP 1893-p Morgan Dollar. Tied for 10th Finest...more known with the finest being just 1 ms66+ from NGC and 8 tied at ms66. This ms65+ is one mark away from an ms66. The Panic of 1893 had far-reaching financial consequences, including the repeal of the Sherman Silver Purchase Act. Freed from the obligation to produce massive quantities of unneeded silver dollars, the United States Mint drastically reduced Morgan dollar production at all active mints in 1893. Only 378,000 examples were struck at the Philadelphia facility that year, making the 1893 a challenging date in the series, especially in grades above the MS65 level. The coin offered here is a delightful Premium Gem, with well-detailed design elements that show just the slightest touch of the usual softness on the hair strands above Liberty's ear. The well-preserved, brilliant surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster from both sides and the overall eye appeal is outstanding. I have included an ms66 for your comparison. But for the one rim mark I think the coins are the same and solidify our ms65+ grade. A really awesome coin. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. Lot # 124 (Sale Order: 69 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1860-o OC-2 Seated Liberty Dollar $1 Graded Choice Unc By USCG. The reverse die was previously used in 1859. At least one bag of one thousa...morend 1860-O Seated dollars was released from the US Treasury in the early 1960s during the great silver dollar hoard distribution from that facility that rewrote the rarity of many issues. Those coins were nearly all in the lowest Mint State grades, accounting for the unusual population distribution today. NGC has certified over 450 examples in grades from MS60 to MS63, and just 40 pieces from MS64 to MS66. This impressive Choice Mint State piece has frosty silver luster, untoned surfaces, and strong design definition.

***Auction Highlight*** 1892-s Morgan Dollar $1 Graded au58 details By SEGS (fc)

Lot # 125 (Sale Order: 70 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1892-s Morgan Dollar $1 Graded au58 details By SEGS. The 1892-S Morgan dollar is plentiful enough in lower circulated grades from a mintage...more of 1.2 million coins. However, those pieces that grade AU or Mint State are elusive, and demand for such pieces is at a high level. There were no quantities of this issue that appeared in the early 1960s U.S. Treasury dispersal. Afterward, demand for high-grade circulated examples escalated. This impressive near-Mint example would feel right at home in a Mint State collection of Morgan dollars, while saving the collector significant funds to be used for other components of the collection. Both sides are nicely toned, the obverse has great luster commensurate with the grade, but the reverse has less luster than appropriate for the grade, which is the root of the details grade. All in all, a great strike and eye appeal for the grade.

Lot # 130 (Sale Order: 75 of 501)

***Auction Highlight*** 1847 C Charlotte 9-E Gold Liberty Half Eagle 5 Graded Choice AU By USCG. Up for Auction is a Rare Charlotte Gold $5 Half Eagle. It is the ...moreVariety 9-E. On this variety, the 1 in the date is close to, but does not touch the bust. The 7, on the other hand, firmly touches the truncation. The 1847-C is rare in mid and high-end AU, and extremely rare in Mint State (Douglas Winter, 1998). The example at hand has Attractive yellow-gold color which covers both sides of this MS61 specimen, each of which gives off a slight greenish cast. The design elements are much better defined than ordinarily seen, including the eagle's neck and leg feathers, areas that are often weak. The surfaces reveal somewhat prooflike tendencies, and show a scattering of light marks, and one grade-limiting mark on the reverse field. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away Coin
