Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. We do not and cannot guarantee nor warranty the authenticity of any item. For each item we bring to auction, it is bidder responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value, or any other determinative factor; we make no representations to any aforementioned criteria, and all titles and descriptions are statements of opinion. In no event shall we be responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Each item has multiple detailed photographs and is described as what we see and Consignor opinion. Please use your expertise when bidding.
Invoices are sent to winning bidders via email immediately following the sale. Your credit card on file will be processed for payment for your purchases by midnight on auction day. Please ensure the account number and expiration date is accurate and the account can bear the weight of your purchases. Issues with payment may result in a suspended account with us and with the bidding platform. USPS money orders or checks (which must clear before item is released) are also accepted when postmarked by the day following the sale; mail to/payable to: LEGACY AUCTION, PO BOX 224, EFFORT, PA 18330.
The UPS Store, Mt. Pocono, PA, manages all non-firearm shipping at buyer expense. Items will be delivered to The UPS Store within 3 business days following the auction. The UPS Store will contact you directly for delivery timing and payment when your package is ready. The UPS Store professionally packages, insures, and ships your valuables. Quality packaging and shipping can be expensive, especially for large, heavy, and/or valuable items. We have no control over prices charged for these services. An estimate of the shipping cost will be provided at your request. Items not picked up or claimed for shipment are abandoned to the auctioneer after 30 days post-sale. For any questions regarding items to be shipped via The UPS Store, please call 570-839-8010.
Firearm shipping will be handled by Legacy Auction & Realty.
Your local dealer must email (fax not available) us a clear and legible copy of their up to date dealer license to where we will ship the firearm to you. Firearms are located in Lake Ariel, PA 18436.

Confederate States Army CSA Civil War Era Bowie Knife & Scabbard

The double edged steel blade is maker marked Burger & Bro Richmond.
It measures 1 1/4 wide by 9 inches tall.
Has a round bone handle with an iron pommel and cross guard.
Includes the one piece black leather scabbard that measures 1 5/8 wide by 9 7/16 inches long.

1700-1800's Brown Bess Rifle Bayonet

The triangular blade exhibits a spear shape, and shows very well.
Top flat portion bears a stamp of a British crown over 6 proof mark.
Maker mark shown, unreadable to us.
The socket is has been altered long ago, maybe for a movie production so it would fit on different types of rifles.
By cutting an extra notch in the mortise slot, and cutting the bridge on the rim to allow different rifles to be attached.
Very good condition with a straight 16.5 inch blade.
Nice estate find, get it here.
