One of our favorite collectors is back with another round of beautiful items! All pieces are described as they are believed to be...and we've never had ONE question about anything this man sells!
Ohio Found Spears and Bird Points
4" dark flint, 1.5" width spear. 3 3/4" grey flint, 1 1/4" width spear. 45 Bird Points 3/4" to 1 3/4". All found in Ohio farm land. All displayed in glass top wooden case.

All found on private Missouri farm land. (2) 4" Grey Flint Spears. 38 Bird Points 3/4" to 1 1/2" long. Nice collection in glass top wooden display case. All sizes are approximate.
Pokagon Black Flint Lance and 110 Bird Points
ALL found on private land near Pokagon State Park, Angola, Indiana. 8.5" Long, 1.75" wide, .25" narrow - Black Flint Lance. 110 Bird Points black and grey flint. All sizes approximate. Nice collection in glass top wooden case.
8 1/2" Long Colored Stone Spear/Lance & 56 Bird Points
2.5" Knife Blade, 1" width, 1/2" narrow. (mid left). 8.5" Long, 2.25" width, .25" narrow Colored Stone Lance/Spear. Beautiful colored stone bird points (56x). All found on private land in Boise, Idaho. All sizes approximate. Very nice cared for collection in glass top wooden case.
9 1/4" Long Lance (RARE) & Over 55 Bird Points
Found on the owner's Father's private land in Ohio. 4" Long Spear (1.5" wide and 1/4" narrow). 9.25" long, 2" wide, 1/4" narrow Light Grey Flint Lance. Rare centerpiece of this collection. Knife Blade 1.25" Long, 3/4" wide, 1/2" narrow. Nice collection in glass top wooden case. All sizes are approximate.
Large Very Old Native American Grouping
1. VERY old Native American war clubs, bought at Estate Auction. Sizes are 20", 18", and 14". Very nice condition. 2. Native American Flute. Approx 17" and appears to be made of reed. Marked with various designs. CAN be played. 3. Cradle Papoose Basket. It is around 19" long, 12" wide, and 7" deep. 3 Twisted branches for handle. Very nice condition. 4. Very Old Cloth Pouch. Inside includes a round stone marble for child or crushing food (approx 4"). Miniature toy stone hatchet, tomahawk head, 4.5" long x 1 5/8" round point. Black Flint. These artifacts were purchased at Wawasee, Indiana in 1975 and have been stored since then by our collector. Very nice find.
Civil War Map or Document Holder with Letter
Oval shape at each end. Easily opened. It is 12.5" long. Very little rust, great patina. Inside are documents from Simons & Simons 1876, Charleston, South Carolina. The father was a Confederate General in the Civil War. The son was a Lieutenant in the war. Before and after war, they were layers in Charleston, SC. (This information derived from UNC-Chapel Hill Library Catalogue, Called james Simons Papers. This letter has their names, address (77 Broad St., Charleston, SC, 1876). Difficult to read. This particular letter as well as others in container are receipts. (Some for funeral home expenses.) ALSO in document holder is a round box with a gold metal pull chain attached to a fob. The round case says "Key Chain Mcdougall Pat-2-24-03. Attached pin in nice shape.
Whiskey Bottle Dated 1867
6 3/4" tall. 1/2 pint. Says, "Federal law forbids sale or resale ". Has #13-D-125, 18<>67. Made in USA. No lid. Nice condition.
Diamond Match Company Metal Box with Matches inside
Lid is marked Diamond match Company. Appears to be point-of-sale display. Inside box is a full box of diamond matches manufactured by Diamond match., Co., Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This is a full box of square matches form the Civil War Era. Metal box is 8.5" x 5.25" x 5" deep. Side of box says "Chip Matches". Also, "Pass in the Night" Manufactured by Diamond Match Co.". Nice patina.
Carved Box with Scooner Ship and Content Variety
Scooner is 3 mast with flag on rear of ship. Box is wooden - 11.25" x 7.5" x 2" deep. (Approx) Has rope design on top. Appears to be from Civil War Era. Very nice condition. In box: 1. Straight Edge Razor with blade that says, "medium size, gollow ground razor, Roberson & Maples Manufacturing, maples York & Sheffleids." Nice condition. 2. Flint in leather holder approx 3" long x 1 3/4" wide, 1/2" around. Nicely stitched. 3. Spoon & Fork. Spoon has fancy crest of a ship anchor. Fork is three pronged. Handle has nice patina, wood. 3 Rivets to hold handle together. 4. Wooden Scoop. Flat at bottom. 8.25" x 3" x 3.5". No cracks. Nice piece.
Two Civil War Era Usefuls
1. Civil War Era home match box on leather strap. Above box is a Civil War Medal, with eagle (wingsup). Eagle appears to be on top of a globe. Interesting. 2. Wooden box for flint. Box is 7.5" x 1.5" x .5" deep. All hand carved. Inside is long flints with sway from use as sword sharpener. Flint is 6" long and at least 1/2" deep embedded in wood. Case bottom is dated 1865.
Sea Ink Well and Original Abstract
Sea ink well marked by fancy anchor. Marked "K.K.A." Well is purple in color (either glass color or ink stained - unclear). Very nice condition This lot also includes a dated document. Dated: 20th November 1866. Also noted are Georgetown, SC and May 15, 1880. There is a 4 page Abstract of 250 Acres of land in great detail. Very nice handwritten abstract.
Very old Leather Money Belt and Contents
Our collector believes this belt to be from the Civil War era. Zipper is good. In belt is 3" long gold toned mechanical pencil. Very interesting. Belt also includes very old paper detailing the amount of something. ($14.00) ?? Fun find.
