This auction features over 260 lots of beautiful art, decorative pottery and glassware, furniture, household items and much more from one of our Upstate South Carolina clients. All items have been moved to our auction gallery for ease of pickup and inventory.
Pickup is available at our auction gallery - 315 Eastview Road, Pelzer, SC. Shipping will be handled by the UPS Store in Taylors, SC, at the buyer's expense. Furniture and large items will not be shipped, so please bid accordingly. Buyers can schedule their own shipping and transport company, but items must be removed within five business days of the auction close.

Black and Gold Vase with Handpainted Peacock Design - Painted by Ludmila Petrova, Chernobyl Doctor
- This vase measures 12 inches tall and was handpainted in bright colors by Dr Ludmila Petrova.
- Ludmila Petrova was a medical doctor who rendered some of the first medical help in Chernobyl Zone during that disaster in 1986. Shortly after, as many more, she was diagnosed with blood cancer. After several years of treatment in the Soviet Union during and after its collapse in 1990 she was able to come to the USA.
- Once she was in the US, she started to paint to relieve anxiety and mitigate depression. Unfortunately she passed in the mid 90s. Our client met her at MD Anderson Cancer Center and bought everything she had at that time.
