SERIAL NUMBER N/A BARREL 40" CALIBER .58 RIFLED MANUFACTURED 1863. Model 1861 Bridesburg contract rifle / musket manufactured 1863 with full length walnut stock with steel nose cap and steel butt plate with 3 flat 1861 pattern barrel bands. Lock marked U.S. BRIDESBURG under Federal eagle with date on tail of 1863. Stock has Confederate "Z" inspection just forward of trigger guard assembly that is recognized as the final acceptance stamping from the Confederate Arsenals and facilities at Richmond. Staunton, Danville and Lynchburg Va, under the (C&R) "Cleaning & Recovery service. These markings are well documented in Author Steven Knotts published book "CAPTURED AND COLLECTED CONFEDERATE REISSUED FIREARMS" It has been estimated that the Cleaning & recovery service handled upwards of 200,000 small arms through out their existance. These marked firearms are rarely encountered as many of them were taken home postwar and utilized at foraging guns and were modified for civilian uses. CONDITION. Good with barrel having a even brown patina with rear sight being asent. Bore is dark. Lock is good and fully functioning. Stock has period of use bruises and impressions with crack at heel from shrinkage. Both lock plate screws are absent and the barrel tang is chipped. STATE OF CONNETICUT 1814 MILITIA MUSKET

SERIAL NUMBER N/A BARREL 41" CALIBER .69 SMOOTHBORE MANUFACTURED 1814. Believed to have been produced by Pomeroy of Pittsfield Mass. Marked S.CT on 1808 pattern flint lock as well as inspect P.W. on breech and dated 1814 on breech. 41" tapered round barrel with lug for socket bayonet with 3 iron retaining bands with rearward mounted retaining springs. One piece oil finished walnut stock with iron butt plate. The State of Connecticut militia muskets while well known are rarely ever encountered as most were later modified and reissued for later use. CONDITION, Very good with exterior metal having a well preserved period patina, Properly function lock, Stocks are good with 2 repaired shrinkage cracks forward of the lock along the barrel channel. This example has been reconverted to its original flint configuration very professionally and quite some time ago.. All markings are very crisp and legible. 52162 TDW/ ANTIQUE

The pistol has all the same premium features of the iconic target version such as , cocking indicator, adjustable trigger stop factory checkered target stocks and Patridge front sight and adjustable rear sight but was fitted with a tapered and beveled 5" sport barrel. 10 round magazine , bright polished blue and not cut for target weights. The slide had wider cocking serration's for field use as opposed to the fine serration's on the target version. This example is housed in its original 2 piece factory box with full numbers matching label and comes with instruction paperwork and factory cleaning tools. Manufactured by Smith & Wesson with high polish commercial blue with cocking indicator, adjustable trigger stop, Patridge front sight and target adjustable rear sight. Muzzle brake and muzzle cap for when brake is not being used. Smith & Wesson factory oil finished checkered grips with original numbers matching box with cleaning tools. The factory 22 Short model 41 was introduced for International Target shooting and has a special 5 round magazine. The estimated production was less than 1000 pistols. CONDITION, Extremely fine with 97% blue finish remaining and only evidence of light use with slide wear on slide. Bore is bright and sharp, grips are excellent. Action operates properly and box is very fine with some light exterior storage wear. This pistol is part of a small S&W collection and has never previously been offered for sale. TDW / C&R

FINE MARBLES MODEL 1908 "A" GAMEGETTER W/ HOLSTER

SERIAL NUMBER 9822 BARREL 18" CALIBER 22 LONG RIFLE / 44 SMOOTHBORE MANUFACTURED CIRCA 1910. The pride of Webster Marble owner of Marbles sights, Pocket axes, and outdoor gear who invented this unique combination gun. He wanted a rugged, reliable firarm for camplife and quickly discovered most items offered were unreliable, fragile and prone to breakage. After extensive development he patented the Model 1908 and offered it in several configurations including the deluxe "A" pattern with gold bead front sight, folding barrel sight and adjustable rear tang sight. Fitted with fancy checkered black hard rubber grips with MARBLES monogram and a nickel finished folding stock and Case colored hammer and trigger. These little folding combination guns were offered in a variety of lengths from 12" , 14" , 16", and 18" barrels. The Public Safety Act of 1934 of course made it very difficult to own any barrel length under 18". This example with 18" barrel; is marked on left side of breech " MANUFACTURED BY THE MARBLE SAFETY AXE CO. GLADSTONE MICH, U.S.A. MARBLE ARMS & MFG .CO, SUCCESSOR". The lower frame is marked is a broad script " GAME GETTER" . Serial numbers are found on underside of breech and water table of receiver. Right side of breech is marked "CALIBERS 22&44" . Gun is accompanied by its brown leather scabbard / holster with shoulder carry strap. CONDITION, Very fine with barrels retaining over 95% blue finish with slight finish loss at muzzle and high points from use. The frame retain 98% finish with traces of edge wear. The hard rubber grips are excellent and without distress. The nickel finished folding butt stock retains 60% bright nickel with some oxidation and finish loss from use. The bores are very good and the action operates properly. The 44 barrel has had its chambered lengthened for use with .410 shot shells. The leather scabbard / holster is good with solid stitching and supple leather. The exterior has some period of use scuffing and the strap is getting worn but remains intact. TDW / C&R

SERIAL NUMBER 380 BARREL 7 1/2" CALIBER 44 RIMFIRE MANUFACTURED 1876. Complete with Colt factory letter verifying its configuration and indication it was shipped in a 18 gun shipment 2/1/ 1876 to Spies Kissam & Co New York NY. These rare and desired revolvers were manufactured in their own serial number range and most ended up being shipped to the South West and South America were they saw hard use and a very low survival rate. CONDITION. Good as found with the revolver having attained a chocolate brown patina mixed with some deep pitting on barrel and edges of top strap. The bore has strong visible rifling with darkness in the grooves. The barrel has the early single line address and the 2 line patent legend on frame. One piece walnut grips are undersized from age and use. The numbers are matching. The revolver shows some light cleaning and restoration as well as a replace bulls eye ejector. TDW / ANTIQUE

With a total production of 926 revolvers the 1905 Colt Marine Corps 38 revolver remains one of the rarest of all Colt collectibles. 812 were delivered to the Marine Corps and 114 were offered for civilian sale. blue finished with round butt frame and checkered walnut grips without monograms. Serial numbered on the butt and assembly number on inside on crane and penciled on interior of right grip. Slightly over sized grips are not numbered. Condition. Back strap is turning patina, otherwise over 95% blue remains with usual high edge & light muzzle wear. Over 40% colors remain with some spotting on right side. Most of the blue remains on screws. Bore is excellent. Grips are excellent. Works double action but not single action. C&R

SERIAL 151848. BARREL 4 3/4". CALIBER 45 COLT. MADE IN 1893. Standard black powder frame, two line barrel address, matching numbers, proper gutta percha grips, two line frame dates. Condition. No original finish, basically gray patina with some shadow areas. Grips show matching wear with thinning checkering and an inside crack that has been strengthened but not visible from outside. Four clicks and half cock locks. Top line in barrel address is very worn and the muzzle is rounding, most likely from spending its life in a holster. Cylinder pin is period replacement. Bore is well pronounced but frosted. ANTIQUE DB

Condition. Appears almost unfired with a ghost drag line, no real visible face burn or heavy powder build up around cone. Brilliant case colors. Fine action and crisp bore. Would look at home in a correct box. C&R DB
