(N) SCARCE CASED TIPPMAN FULLY AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONAL MINIATURE REPLICA OF BROWNING MODEL 1919A4 BROWN

Lot # 1079 (Sale Order: 79 of 460)

Very desirable and scarce Tippman manufactured scale miniature of the classic Browning 1919A4 machine gun. The Browning design needs no introduction to military machine gun enthusiasts. This is a fully functional scaled down replica which is quite a rare item as only a few were made and registered as fully transferable machine guns. Accessories include tripod with T&E mechanism, 2 ammo boxes, and original wooden crate with operators manual. Stirrup pintle bolt is a standard bolt. CONDITION: Overall finish and appearance is near excellent original finish with evidence of some firing. Top cover and retaining latch have a plum color as does feed shuttle. Internal parts are appropriately “in the white” and polished. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent. Wooden crate is also near excellent condition but one leather carrying strap is slightly pulled away from its retaining screw. This miniature is just an amazing attractive little gun which would look great on display and since it already has been fired, can be taken out to the range upon occasion without having any great affect on its investment value. Belts in both cloth and plastic can still be acquired, and as a .22 Long Rifle machine gun, this gun is a lot easier to move around than the full-sized .30 caliber gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. Accessories: Crate Barrel Length: 11" Caliber/Bore: .22 LR FFL Status: NFA Manufacturer: Tippman Arms Co. Model: 1919A4 Serial Number: AL123

(C) INCREDIBLY SCARCE AND DESIRABLE WORLD WAR I GERMAN MAUSER SHORT “KURZ” MODEL 1918 T-GEWEHR 13MM

Lot # 1092 (Sale Order: 92 of 460)

This is the earliest model of the infamous German T-Gewher anti-tank rifles. The first Tank Abwehr Gewehr weapon to be developed by Mauser had a 36" long barrel that had a wall thickness of 8.5mm at the muzzle. The weapon weighed approximately 40 pounds with an overall length of 63". Further testing and development revealed that the wall thickness of the barrel could be reduced and the barrel length increased for additional muzzle velocity. The early weapon was designated as the Kurz (short) model. Only approximately 300 of these Kurz models were produced. This gun is dated 1918 on top of the receiver under the standard Banner Mauser marking. Marked "KURZ" on the left side of the barrel. Matching serial number of 86 throughout. Single shot, bolt action. Proper style "tubular" bipod. CONDITION: Very good with a pleasing patina overall, approximately 30% original blue in protected areas and on the trigger guard. All markings are sharp and clear. Sharp stock cartouches. Wood is very good with dings and handling marks, shows wear as would be expected on a gun of this age and size. No breaks or cracks in wood, although there is a small piece that is missing from the very front of the right side of the stock. Fine mechanical function. Bore is fine with sharp, well defined rifling. This is an amazingly scarce model, the only "Kurz" or short model of this historic World War I bolt action rifle ever observed in the American collector market. If some other collector has another one of these early models in the United States, please call or email Morphy Auctions and let us know. JWK 2020-11-056 Accessories: Bipod Barrel Length: 36" Caliber/Bore: 13.2mm FFL Status: Curio & Relic Manufacturer: Mauser Model: Tankgewehr Serial Number: 86

INCREDIBLEY SCARCE AND FABULOUS CONDITION ORIGINAL JAPANESE TYPE 96 MACHINE GUN LOADING TOOL, TWO OR

Lot # 1096 (Sale Order: 96 of 460)

Very exciting offering of two near mint condition original Japanese Type 96 machine gun magazines. 15 original brass 6.5 Japanese rifle stripper clips, and an exceptionally rare original Japanese Type 96 machine gun magazine loading tool serial number 112. These items came from a consignor whose Father was a World War II Veteran and acquired these items off of a Japanese troop ship during World War II. He bagged the gun that went with them too, but unfortunately, that item went to the bottom of a lake many years ago. Fortunately, these items were retained so they are now offered here. The loader is a later model, without oiler for applying oil to cartridges. Original textile marker number remnants indicate is was issued with a Kokura manufactured Type 96 gun in the 47 thousand serial number range perhaps “47275” as a guess. This serial number would place the gun has having been manufactured in the April-May of 1941 timeframe. The loader operates by unfolding the handle, snapping a magazine into place and then taking a standard loaded 6.5 rifle stripper clip and placing it into the channel; then actuating the handle. Efficient. The Spring clip which held the handle in place while folded is broken off, but the forward-thinking consignor retained the broken piece, and it is included. The two original 30 round magazines are unmarked and unnumbered. CONDITION: Loading tool very good original finish with scattered areas of brown patina thinning to grey at high edge contact points. Wood of handle near excellent. Magazines near excellent original lustrous black finish under original preservative grease coating, just as found, with a few spots of light brown on one magazine. Should clean up well. Stripper clips are as found, with some green/brown tarnishing, yet very serviceable. If you have read this far you already know what a sensational offering this is. When have you ever seen the like of it!? JWK 2020-11-054

Lot # 1099 (Sale Order: 99 of 460)

Designed and manufactured by the Soviet Union during World War II to replace their outdated Model 1910 Maxim machine guns, the SG-43 proved to be a reliable addition to the Red Army's arsenal. After World War II, many Soviet Union satellite countries either had SG-43 machine guns exported to them or received the licenses to locally produce them. This being a prime example of a Polish manufactured Wz.43 (SG-43). The receiver has been torch cut into 4 pieces. Receiver cover is marked with a "6" within a circle over "7.62mm/ CKM-wz.43/ 1955r/ RK-881". Other components include the bolt, bolt carrier, barrel, flash hider, rear sight assembly, spade grips, ammunition tray, and shield. Complete with an unidentified tripod. CONDITION: Metal components are for the most part good, retaining large amounts of their blue finish and exhibiting some scattered areas of oxidation. Barrel's bore is good, and retains well defined lands and grooves throughout. Smaller components like top cover, rear sight, bolt, and bolt carrier are excellent and still in their sealed importer plastic bags. Tripod shows chipping and wear to the paint and areas of oxidation. A nice assortment of Polish Wz.43 accessories. -MLW-
