This is a selection of three Haynes Guides to Yellowstone National Park from an editor's collection. Included are corrections for the 1942 and 1946 editions as well as a 1964 guide. The two earlier guides have editor corrections attached. The 1964 is a normal edition with no correction or editor notes. The guides are in good overall condition. Each one measures 5" x 7.5".

The piece is made form Parfleche or a hide, especially a buffalo's hide, dried by being stretched on a frame after the hair has been removed. Bag such as this one where mostly used for documents. Binion Collection 1922 Silver Peace Dollar

Lot # 339 (Sale Order: 404 of 537)      

This lot features a Binion Collection 1922 Silver Dollar Uncirculated Type Set #698 of 2500. After his death, it was discovered by Nye County sheriff's deputies that Ted had had a 12-foot-deep vault built on the desert floor on a piece of property he owned in Pahrump, 60 miles west of Las Vegas. The concrete bunker contained six tons of silver bullion, Horseshoe Casino chips, paper currency, and more than 100,000 rare coins, including Carson City silver dollar many in mint condition estimated to be worth between $7 million and $14 million that were once housed in the Horseshoe vault. Lonnie Theodore "Ted" Binion (November 28, 1943 – September 17, 1998) was a wealthy U.S. gambling executive and one of the sons of famed Las Vegas casino magnate Lester Ben "Benny" Binion, owner of Binion's Horseshoe. His death has been a subject of controversy; girlfriend Sandra Murphy and her lover Rick Tabish were initially charged and convicted in Binion's death, but were later granted a new trial and acquitted on the murder charges. This piece is in good condition for its age. This is a NGC Coin. It measures 3 3/8" L x 2 3/8" W

This watch features a gold case and white front with gold lettering, the chain loop has very subtle engravings. This is a working watch. Prohibition Era Bureau of Internal Revenue Lock

Lot # 342 (Sale Order: 411 of 537)      

This is an original Prohibition era lock used by the Bureau of Internal Revenue. Locks such as this one were used to secure shipping containers, warehouses, shops, etc. seized by the authorities during Prohibition. The lock was made by Hurd and is marked "B.I.R.". The key and lock are both marked "A8591". The lock is in good overall condition. It measures 2" x 3.25".

Prohibition Era Bureau of Industrial Alcohol Lock

Lot # 342a (Sale Order: 412 of 537)      

This is an original lock and key used by the Bureau of Industrial Alcohol. These locks were used by the U.S Government since prohibition to secure warehouses, containers, and shipments of alcohol. A paper seal was inserted into the lock and was used to determine if the lock had been unlocked or tampered with. The lock is made from solid brass and is marked "U.S. B.I.A." and "Slaymaker Lanc. Pa.". The lock comes with the original key. The lock and key have matching numbers and the key does work to open the lock. The lock and key are in good condition. The lock measures 2.5" x 4".
