This is an online auction in which you, the bidder, are determining the price. Consequently, all sales are final. Understand that the final determination of the authenticity and condition of the items listed are up to the participants of the auction. The auction house performs its own due diligence for the purposes of accurate descriptions, but due to the high volume of items there are things that can be missed or overlooked. In person inspection is permitted at our premises during business hours, until 48 hours before the first lot closes in the auction. All items are sold for the purpose of being collection pieces, and should be inspected by a professional before engaging in the original intended use.

Should you win the item(s) you are bidding on, the following information will expedite our processing times and get your item(s) to you faster. Once the auction has closed, your card on file will be charged on the next business day for the lot(s) you have won. A credit card fee of 3.5% of the total will be charged. We only accept cards as a form of payment; we do not accept check, money order, wire transfer, cash or pay pal.

Once your order is processed, the card on file will be charged for shipping. We calculate and charge shipping separately in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible for individuals who win our auctions. If you are local, you are welcome and encouraged to pick up your order at the address below.

In the event that your card does not process through Proxibid's payment system, we will email you a link to a payment portal. If payment for the item(s) through this link, a separate link will be sent for shipping when the label is created.

If payment is not received within 7 days of the Auction closing, the won items will be forfeited and relisted.

 

  • Orders for firearms will not be processed until a valid FFL is sent to auctions@oldsteelguns.com.
  • Orders for antiques (MFG before 1898) and black powder guns will not be processed until proper identification (I.E: a driver's license or government issued photo ID) is sent to auctions@oldsteelguns.com.



If proper documentation (Valid FFL to ship to for firearms, Photo ID for antiques) is not provided within 30 days of the auction closing you will be refunded for the item(s) less a 20% restocking fee and they will be relisted.

 


We do not send invoices right away. This is due to our charging shipping separately in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible for individuals who win our auctions. You will receive a complete invoice with a tracking number once shipping has been paid. If you would like an incomplete invoice, we can send one by request. In this case, the invoice will not reflect shipping costs.

US Property Marked S&W Victory Model Revolver - Mfg. c.1942 - .38 S&W - Holster and S&W Paperwork

Starting off this auction is a S&W Victory Model revolver in .38S&W! This revolver comes with a USMC marked holster and a letter from Smith & Wesson. A great parkerized finish and all markings are still visible. Marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY on the top strap. The action cycles well and feels mechanically sound. The holster is a leather USMC marked holster. The letter from S&W is 2 pages describing the history of the model and its factory ship date of September 21, 1942.

Pre War S&W Regulation Police .38 S&W

Bid today on this Pre War Smith & Wesson Regulation Police in .38 S&W with a pinned barrel. This revolver was manufactured between 1917 and 1940, with a serial number indicating that it was produced at the later end of that range. It is in great condition, retaining the majority of its finish with some thinning at the crown, raised surfaces of the frame and areas that are indicative of normal operation. It is in great mechanical condition with good timing and a tactile trigger pull in both double and single action. The walnut grips are in great condition with well defined checkering, bearing the early diamond design around the screw escutcheons. The bore shows strong rifling. This lovely revolver is a great addition to your Smith & Wesson collection!

This revolver is in great conditions, only showing a bit of honest wear to the finish on the crown and a few isolated raised surfaces and a few small dings on the grip. The mechanical function is in great condition with good timing. This revolver comes with a Hunter Company No. 2 leather holster. This holster is in great condition with strong stitching. There is a bit of wear to the mouth of the holster, exposing some of the metal reinforcement, and a bit of corrosion on the brass hardware. Up for auction we have Ruger New Model Blackhawk revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The blued finish of the steel is in good condition with normal wear. The muzzle shows some light holster wear and the cylinder has a light cylinder ring. The aluminum parts shows some wear of the finish. The ejector rod housing, toward the front, shows holster wear. The bottom of the grip frame is in the white. The back strap of the grip frame shows wearing of the finish. The wood grip is in good condition. The holster included is a Hunter brand holster in good condition, Model 1100-13.

Uberti Cattleman 1873 Single Action Army .45 Colt w/ Original Box

Place your bid on this lovely Uberti Cattleman 1873 Single Action Army in .45 Colt. This masterfully built revolver is directly derived from the legendary Colt 1873 Single Action Army design. It is in excellent condition, showing only a small spot of wear to the finish on the backstrap of the grip. The frame is in what Uberti terms an "Old Model" configuration, emulating the original Colt black powder frames with a base pin retaining screw at the front of the frame as opposed to the spring loaded base pin release catch that was seen in later variants of the Colt production. The frame in question displays a stunning charcoal blue finish surrounded by a nice, deep blue on the rest of the major steel components. The single-piece stock is comprised of walnut and is in excellent condition. The mechanical timing on this revolver is tight and satisfying. This beautiful revolver comes in its original box with all of its paperwork.

Unknown 1851 Navy Black Powder Revolver - .36 Cal - Antique - Gunsmith Special

Attention Gunsmiths! We have an unknown black powder 1851 Navy with a .36 caliber bore/cylinder. The Revolver needs some TLC and makes for a good project for gunsmiths and students alike. The finish shows wear and brown patina across the steel. The loading lever retention lug is missing. The revolver still cycles mechanically but needs some work as it will skip occasionally on one of the chambers. Some screw heads show wear of the screw slots. The grip wood is in good condition with some surface wear. The serial number listed is hand marked and not factory original. The brass frame shows some light surface pitting in places. The muzzle shows a small portion of the bore opening having been swaged as well as the crown being filed and not square to the bore. Take this revolver home and bring it back to life!

Erfurt Luger All Matching Mfg. 1914

Lot # 14      

Up for auction is an Erfurt made Luger pistol chambered for 9mm. The parts are all matching. The magazine baseplate is matching with the magazine body showing Sohmeisser Haenel on the rear spine at the bottom. This marking sits over a sun looking emblem above a K. The receiver is marked 1914 with 1920 just above, possible indication of reissue or servicing which is further supported by various unit marking stamps on the frontstrap of the grip. This is an excellent example with lots of history! Add it to your collection today!

Rare German WWI Era First Variation Franz Jager Self Loading Pistol -7.65mm

Lot # 15      

For this lot we have a Franz Jager Self Loading pistol in 7.65mm. Good condition with some wear to the bluing along edges. The German crowned N proof is visible 3 times on the right side. One on a cross-pin, the frame and slide. This is a less common "flat baseplate" pistol, with no spur on the magazine or respective grove on the frame. An "S" safety stamp is present on the left side-plate which is covered when the safety lever is in the off position- a detail that is rarely seen, especially in first variation pistols. There are no military marking present. The single cross-pin, address: "JAGER-PISTOLE. D.R.P. ANGEM. - D.R.G.M." and low serial number: 2920 are indicators that this is a first variation example.

Up for auction is a Colt M1905 45 Automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Manufactured in 1911. This pistol comes with a genuine letter of authenticity from Colt. With a spurred hammer and square heel on the grip, this pistol is in the military style. The blued finish shows some wear along edges and corners but is in great condition, especially for a 112 year old firearm. The markings on the frame and slide are crisp and highly visible, including Rampant Colt logo. The magazine is a 2 tone variant!

Attention Colt Collectors! For this lot we have a Colt Model 1902 Military Model pistol in 38ACP. Manufactured c.1910-1912. The bluing and polish are in great condition. The backstrap of the grip shows light finish wear. The black hard rubber grips are in good condition with the logos and checkering showing little wear.

Attention Colt Collectors! This lot is a Colt 1903 Pocket Hammer chambered in .38 ACP. The finish of the steel deep and dark. Some light surface pitting and the wear of the rampant colt suggest a refinish at some point in the past. The left grip panel has a crack through the lower left bushing area. While there is some wear to the markings, they are all still visible.
