Rare German WWII Rheinmetall Romanian ST-61 / MG 15 Air Cooled Inert Gun w/ Doppel Trommel Magazine

Lot # 258

No. 1738 | Deactivated per BATF Spec and welded for display purposes | This is a non-firing display weapon | Appears to have internals present with bolt & charging handle...more possibly welded, barrel appears to be plugged. Grip safety, and Trigger squeezes. Web front sight intact | Original markings | Rare 75-RD. Double Saddle Drum Magazine is in good condition with visible markings and surface rust | Magazine will attach to and detach from the gun | The German MG15, originally developed in 1932 for Aircraft use, was given the Export designation ST 61, and many ST 61 and MG 15 marked guns were sent under contract to Romania for using during the War, and they also continued to use them afterwards. While no longer considered effective aircraft weapons, they were fine for use on the ground when equipped with a special bracket and bipod. The 75 Round double Drum magazine provided ample capacity. Many were later converted to a Water Cooled configuration in Romania, however this fine example was not, making it a considerably rare variation. | No registration needed.

Rare German WWII MG 34 Tanker Panzerlauf Display LMG Inert Gun

Lot # 259

S# 2985b, 1945 dated, dot maker marked | Most German tanks during World War II used the MG 34 Panzerlauf for their secondary firepower. The main difference of the MG 34 P...moreanzerlauf and the regular MG 34 was the heavier, almost solid armored barrel shroud. This model didn’t use a standard bipod or use the butt stock inside the tank. There was no way to accommodate a bipod on the heavy barrel shroud without a clip on foresight stored inside the tank for emergencies, along with a buttstock to attach as well. Comes complete with a post-war repainted basket belt drum. Tanker MG 34 versions are very rare and much sought after. | BATF approved receiver with solid bar stock, making this a totally legal inert non-firing display gun. No registration needed.
