NM .0...more62 blade front sight with protective ears. NM-marked hooded adjustable aperture rear sight. Windage knob is "NM" marked but does not appear to be of USGI mfg. Rifle appears to be a Type II National Match, but bbl. lacks a "T" targeted marking. Operating rod is of Remington mfg. and is "NM" marked. Receiver has "SA-52" rebuild stamp. Several markings have added yellow highlight paint. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock set with bottom-mounted sling swivels and repro-tan M1907 leather sling. Inside of stock has matching grease pencil number and bedding that appears USGI in style. Right side of stock has "DOD Eagle" cartouche. Underside of pistol grip has circled "P" firing proof. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 1942-dated UFH M1905 bayonet with scabbard in good condition. CONDITION: stock set appears lightly refinished with added oil, some scattered dings, and handling marks. Rear sight adjustments aren't moving & may require attention. Operating rod, trigger housing, hammer, gas cyl. plug, bolt, hammer & safety all "IHC" marked. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & canvas GI sling. Left side of stock has faint "DOD" eagle cartouche & underside of pistol grip has faint circled "P" firing proof. Barrel channel of stock has proper Julian date that appears to read "OR3352". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: combo tool & cleaning rod present under buttplate trap. CONDITION: lightly sanded stock set has added oil finish with a couple handguard cracks, a small filler repair on left side of stock, scattered dings & handling wear. Metal retains 60% parkerized finish with some pitting on front handguard clip, a couple other patches of pitting most notably on bottom metal, scattered thinning, fading & edge wear. Adjustable aperture rear s...moreight with "IHC" marked windage knob. Elevation knob marked "NHC". Operating rod marked "6535382 IHC". Bolt marked "6528287 IHC". Gas lock screw, trigger housing, and hammer all have proper IHC markings. Safety marked with a correct "F" on right side. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock set with bottom-mounted sling swivels and canvas GI sling. Bottom of pistol grip has circled "P" firing proof. Right side of stock has 1/2" "DOD Eagle" cartouche. Inside of stock has "0775" marking that appears to be a Julian date. Front handguard is a bit loose. CONDITION: stock set shows a couple abrasions, some flaking oil finish, scattered dings, and handling wear. Metal retains 85% of its arsenal-parkerized finish with some pitting on gas cyl. assembly, scattered edge wear, and some fading. Action functions properly when hand-cycled. Very good, bright bore. Blade front sight with protective ears....more T105E1 adjustable aperture rear sight. Rare early "Arrowhead" IHC Garand with Springfield Armory-made IHC receiver. Nicknamed "Arrowhead" by collectors due to layout of receiver markings. Right front receiver leg marked "RRAD 7-66" in electropencil denoting Red River Army depot rework in July, 1966. Operating rod marked "D-6535382 IHC". Other parts are mostly Springfield Armory mfg. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock with bottom-mounted sling swivels and canvas GI sling. Stock has boxed "P" firing proof on underside of wrist and no other visible markings. Front handguard is loose. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 1942-dated AFH M1 bayonet with Danish "FKF" marked scabbard. CONDITION: arsenal-refinished stock set shows some scattered handling marks. Metal retains 93% of its arsenal-reworked, parkerized finish with scattered silvering on the exposed edges.
