Trigger guar...mored bow has pantograph marked inscription "Loaned to / Co. B. 19th Reg. / M. L. G.". Bottom of the grip has a "5" silver painted marking. Similar guns have been identified in past auctions as possibly being loaned by the Fitchburg police department to the Massachusetts state guard during the 1919 Boston Police Strike. Mfg. 1918. CONDITION: exceptionally nice condition for a gun of this age, retaining over 85% original blue w/ scattered areas of flaking. Original wood finish shows light wear w/ scattered scratches & marks. USAF marked black leather shoulder holster is in very good condition. TM9-2027 ordnance manual included. Backstraps marked "PROPERTY OF U.S. AIR FORCE". Left side of rear sights marked "REVOLVER, LIGHTWEIGHT, M13". 1) S# C287418. Matching numbers on frame, cyl., bbl. & extractor. Case colored trigger & hammer. Other parts have blued & anodized finishes. Checkered walnut grips with mismatch number on right panel & silver S&W medallions. Back of right panel has white paint rack number "75th". Left panel has scratch "105" number at rear sight. CONDITION: grips show some light chipping, scattered dings & handling marks. Trigger & hammer retain strong amounts of their case colors with some fading to gray & oxidation staining. Balance of metal retains 60% original blue & anodized finishes with scattered edge wear, scratches & flaking. Action appears to function properly when hand cycled. Very good + bright bore. (24-5202/MJC). 2) S# C368214. Destroyed M13 Aircrewman revolver. Cyl. latch, trigger assembly & several pins missing. Bbl. appears unnumbered. Checkered walnut grips with mismatched right panel & silver S&W medallions. Back of right grip panel has white paint "75th" rack number. CONDITION: grips show some dings, chips & handling wear. REVOLVER WITH IVORY GRIPS INSCRIBED TO CAPT. MICAH JENKINS, 1ST U.S. VOLUNTEER CAVALRY "ROUGH RIDERS", WITH PROVENANCE. Cal. 38 Colt. S# 99052. Bbl. 6". New Army & Navy C...moreommercial double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1898. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the cal. designation at the breech, with Colt's 2-line address and patent information marked across the top. Left side of frame is marked with the encircled Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a high polish blue finish, with the trigger, rear strap of the hammer, and the frame screws exhibiting a nitre blue finish. Butt is faintly etched with what appears to be "Micah Jenkins", but is mostly illegible. Frame is mounted with 2-piece smooth ivory grips. Left grip panel is inscribed "Capt. Micah Jenkins/ 1st U.S. Vol. Cav.". Micah John Jenkins, born July 3 of 1875 (son of Confederate Brigadier General Micah Jenkins), graduated from West Point in 1879, and served as Captain of Troop K, of the famed 1st United States Volunteer Cavalry Regiment, more commonly known as the "Rough Riders", during the Spanish-American War. Jenkins fought with the 1st Volunteer Cavalry in Cuba and was also present during the attack of San Juan Hill. Matching assembly numbers are present on the frame, cyl. crane, and cyl. latch. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: a folder of scanned documents pertaining to Micah John Jenkins. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finishes, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, scattered spots of light surface oxidation, and some small spots of pitting present overall. Grip straps retain a mottled gray patina overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few small spots of pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips exhibit a pleasing mellow patina and some hairline cracks on the butt, with the right grip exhibiting a chip to the bottom right corner of the panel. Left grip exhibits a notable crack on the interior of the panel, which has been lightly touched up with some epoxy at one time. A nice example of a Colt New Army & Navy Commercial double action revolver, inscribed to Capt. Micah Jenkins. PROVENANCE: Lifelong Collection of Robert "Mike" Bricker. (01-25414/MLW). However, Colt factory shipping ledgers contain only a small percentage of these refurbishing records, and serial number 2642 is not contained within these ledgers. RARE COLT 1902 "PHILIPPINE" MODEL DOUBLE ACTION

Bbl. 6". 1 of only approximately 4,600 Model 1902 double action revolvers (commonly referred to as the Model 1902 "Phillipine" or "Alaskan") ...moremfg. by Colt under contract for the U.S. Army. Essentially a modified Model 1878, the Model 1902 revolvers featured an enlarged trigger and trigger guard, with a stronger mainspring to negate soft strikes for the .45 Colt cartridge. This example, mfg. in 1900, is marked "45 COLT." on the left side of the bbl, with Colt's single line address marked across the top. Left side of frame is marked with the encircled Rampant Colt logo, followed by a "R.A.C." (Rinaldo A. Carr) inspector proof at the tang, which is also present on the left side of the forward trigger guard web, and on the rear face of the cyl. Right side of frame is marked "JTT" (Captain John T. Thompson) at the tang, followed by "1902" and "US". Left side of forward trigger guard web is stamped with an upside down "34", which is also present on the left side of the frame, beneath the grip panel. Metal components exhibit a period reapplied blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt checkered brown hard rubber grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame and cyl. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: generic soft case. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear that show through to brown and gray patinas, scattered marks from handling and storage, as well as scattered areas of light to mild pitting that is present primarily below the blue finish. Grip straps retain a mostly mottled brown patina. Very bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots of pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. A previous owner has added thick paper spacers between the mainspring and frame, with the action functioning properly in single action, but not holding on cock in double action. Grips are very good overall, exhibiting few scattered marks from handling and storage. A rare example of a Colt Model 1902 "Philippine" Model double action revolver. Blue finish w/ polished hammer sides. Left side of frame has rampant colt marking. 2 piece checkered walnut round butt grips. Lanyard ring is removed w/ plug installed. CONDITION: about 95% blue showing muzzle & edge wear w/ a cyl. drag line. Grips show light finish & checkering wear w/ handling marks.
