The SS Quist Runes Decal is 90%+ complete with some loss due to a deep scratch across the top left corner of the decal, along with some minor some gashes and chipping that also go down to the metal, typical age toning and combat use. The inside skirt of the steel shell is stamped “Q66” indicating manufacture by the firm of F.W. Quist (Q) size 66. The lot number “4313” is stamped in the rear of the skirt.

The Size 58 marked leather liner inside is complete, original, untouched, and in excellent condition with moderate wear, with its original draw string. The liner is complete and shows only wear and does not have any tears or rips or general damage. Included which looks to be original to the helmet is a complete chin strap with buckles. This M35 Double Decal SS Helmet is an absolutely stunning example of this iconic SS helmet type.
