Rare German WW2 19th SS Latvian Legion Division SS Untersturmfuhrer Officer Collar Tab pair

Lot # 1520 (Sale Order: 185 of 304)

This is an original and extremely rare pair of German WWII 19th SS Latvian Legion Division SS Untersturmführer Officer Collar Tabs. These insignia belonged to an officer in the 19th SS Latvian Division, a unit formed in 1943 from Latvian volunteers that fought against Soviet forces, most notably in the besieged Courland Pocket until the final days of the war in May 1945.

These machine-produced collar tabs are among the most difficult Waffen-SS insignia to find on the open market. Despite minor signs of age, they have been well-preserved, maintaining their original form and detail. This set was sourced from the estate of 1st Sgt. James Edward Billingsley of the U.S. 2nd Infantry Division, 3rd Army, and was acquired directly from the veteran’s grandson in Tampa, Florida.

German WW2 Third Reich SA NSKK Dagger with Sheath

Lot # 1530 (Sale Order: 195 of 304)

This original Third Reich NSKK Dagger features the coveted "RZM M7/13" (Arthur Schüttelhöfer) maker-mark on the nickel-plated steel blade, exhibiting a gray patina, runner marks, and freckling throughout. The wood grip is adorned with an inset eagle and SA roundel, both showing natural patina from age. The steel scabbard retains much of its original black painted finish, though it shows scattered chips from use. Nickel-plated fittings display a well-preserved patina with light surface marks.

The NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps) was an offshoot of the SA, tasked with overseeing Wartime Germany’s military transport and logistics. By 1936, it had largely absorbed the SA’s motorized divisions, and NSKK members continued to wear a variation of the original SA dagger, maintaining its symbolic "Alles für Deutschland" inscription. While visually similar to SA daggers, NSKK versions were distinguished by their black-painted scabbards, reflecting their unique role within the German Party hierarchy.

As an essential piece of WW2 German Party militaria, these daggers embody the organizational complexity of Wartime Germany’s paramilitary forces. The NSKK variant adds a unique level of value and desirability among collectors. It remains a significant collectible for those interested in the evolution of political and military artifacts from the German reign of WW2.

German WW2 Anti-Partisan Badge in Bronze with Award Document Professionally Matted and Framed

Lot # 1532 (Sale Order: 197 of 304)

This Anti-Partisan Badge in Bronze, awarded to Lieutenant Bruno Dewitz on August 25, 1944, includes its original award document, signed by Karl Wolff, a high-ranking SS and Police official known as "the man between Hitler and Himmler", which is possibly stamped. The document bears Wolff’s official SS Police stamp, making this professionally framed and matted display a one-of-a-kind piece of German wartime memorabilia.

Instituted in January 1944, the Bandit-Warfare Badge (Bandenkampfabzeichen) was awarded to German personnel who participated in counterinsurgency operations against resistance fighters. It was commonly given for 20+ days of combat against anti-partisans, particularly in the Eastern Front and Yugoslavia. The badge features a sword piercing a hydra, symbolizing the NSDAPs campaign against partisans.

About the Bandit-warfare Badge (Bandenkampfabzeichen); also called Anti-Partisan or Guerrilla Warfare Badge, was a World War II decoration of NSDAP Germany awarded to members of the Army, Luftwaffe, Order Police, and Waffen-SS for participating in rear-area security operations, the so- called Bandenbekämpfung (bandit fighting). The badge was instituted on 30 January 1944 by Adolf Hitler after authorization/recommendation by Heinrich Himmler. The award was intended to recognize those who had taken part in combating the growing Partisan menace which was causing so much disruption in the areas occupied by the German armed forces along with her Allies. The badge is usually associated predominantly with battles against Soviet Partisans in the Eastern Europe and with Tito and Yugoslavia. But was of course intended for all those who had seen action against Partisans on all the fronts. Although this was an SS and Police award, it was open to all those who had fought against the Partisans and fulfilled the appropriate criteria listed. Thus, it was also awarded to members of the Army, Navy, and Luftwaffe personnel as well as to SS and Police units. Authority to bestow the award lay with the High Command of each branch of the Armed Forces and with the local Höhere SS- und Polizei Führer in the case of Waffen-SS or SS and Polizei awards.

German WW2 EM/NCO R.A.D. Reich Labor Service Aluminum Belt Buckle - Vet Bringback Souvenier

Lot # 1534 (Sale Order: 199 of 304)

An early Reich Labor Service (R.A.D.) enlisted men’s/NCO Belt Buckle, crafted from pebbled aluminum and retaining its original design features. The Reichsarbeitsdienst (R.A.D.), or Reich Labor Service, was a militarized state labor organization responsible for infrastructure projects, agricultural work, and wartime auxiliary service. Their belt buckles, like this one, were distinct from those worn by Wehrmacht and SS personnel.

The obverse features the R.A.D. spade emblem with a swastika, flanked by a raised oak leaf design. The reverse is stamped with an "A" and "36", indicating that this piece was produced by the renowned Assmann firm in 1936, making it an early and highly desirable example. The original leather tab is still attached and faintly marked "1936" with the Assmann name, further confirming its authenticity. A great addition for collectors of Reich Labor Service artifacts, German military belt buckles, or WWII-era insignia.

Provenance: Vet Bringback Souvenier

Dimensions: Approx. 2.5" W x 2" H

German WW2 EM/NCO Heer Army Belt Buckle Stamped Dated 1936 OBERSTEIN with Vet cut Belt

Lot # 1535 (Sale Order: 200 of 304)

German WW2 EM/NCO Heer Army Aluminum Belt Buckle size 95 Stamped and Dated 1936 OBERSTEIN with Vet cut Belt

This is an early-war German Heer (Army) enlisted men’s/NCO Aluminum Belt Buckle, dated 1936 and stamped OBERSTEIN, indicating its place of manufacture. The buckle retains its original pebbled finish, with the central Wehrmacht eagle clutching a swastika, surrounded by the traditional “Gott mit uns” (God with us) motto.

Included with the buckle is a vet-cut belt, which was likely shortened or altered by the Allied soldier who brought it back as a war trophy. This buckle is in solid battlefield condition, showing signs of use but retaining excellent detail. A great piece for collectors of early Wehrmacht gear, German belt buckles, or WWII-era militaria.
