Post-War German SS Polizei Officer Uniform - Complete with Regalia

Lot # 642 (Sale Order: 182 of 302)

This complete post-war German SS Polizei Officer's Uniform includes the tunic, pants, shirt, tie, belt, and visor cap, along with all the regalia. It features a black wou...morend badge, collar tabs, and other insignia, all meticulously displayed in its original configuration. The uniform is in excellent condition, preserving the look and feel of German law enforcement attire in the years following WWII. Following the collapse of Nazi Germany, many former SS personnel were absorbed into police forces, particularly in West Germany, where law enforcement institutions were rebuilt using remnants of wartime organizations. While the exact origins of this uniform are uncertain, post-war Polizei units often retained elements of SS-style uniforms before transitioning to new designs. This set provides a fascinating look into the continuity of military and police traditions in post-war Germany. Provenance: A local Texan 20 year Collector of Militaria

Japanese WW2 Type 14 Nambu Pistol – First Series, Toriimatsu Branch, Dated Showa 18.4 (April 1943)

Lot # 706 (Sale Order: 193 of 302)

This is an original Japanese Type 14 Nambu semi-automatic pistol, manufactured by the Toriimatsu Branch of the Nagoya Arsenal during World War II. This specific example...more is a First Series production, as indicated by the serial number 70328 and the presence of the correct Nagoya Arsenal “circle-eight” symbol followed by the Japanese “i” (?) katakana series mark. These pistols were built in sequential five-digit serial blocks, and the First Series (formerly referred to as “Series A”) includes pistols numbered between 50,000 and 99,999. The date stamp on the right side reads Showa 18.4, meaning this pistol was produced in April 1943, the 18th year of Emperor Hirohito’s reign. Below the date is the small “na” (?) final inspection mark, also confirming Nagoya Arsenal production. The pistol retains its traditional features: blued finish, large striker spring assembly, fixed sights, and grooved wooden grips. It is accompanied by a leather holster, which appears period-correct. The Type 14 was the standard issue sidearm of the Imperial Japanese Army, and although officers were often required to purchase their own, the design saw extensive use across the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Pacific Theater of WWII. The Type 14 remains one of the most iconic firearms of the Japanese military. This particular pistol is a well-marked and historically dated example, offering strong collector value with clear links to wartime production timelines and arsenal systems. This firearm is consigned through Blackjack Guns of Cedar Park, Texas. All sales will be processed through their licensed FFL in compliance with federal regulations.

Chinese Norinco Type 54 TT Tokarev Pistol – Vietnam-Era Variant

Lot # 709 (Sale Order: 196 of 302)

This is a Chinese-made Norinco Type 54, a military-issue semi-automatic pistol derived from the original Soviet TT-30 Tokarev design. Based closely on John Browning’s e...morearlier pistol mechanisms, the TT series was streamlined for wartime production by Soviet engineer Fedor Tokarev. This example is a Type 54 variant, which replaced the Type 51 in 1954 and was produced in significant numbers until 1985, with tens of thousands exported to North Vietnam. The Tokarev served widely across Eastern Bloc militaries and gained a reputation for reliability and hard-hitting performance. Chambered in 7.62x25mm, the Type 54 offered high velocity and armor penetration, making it well-suited for Cold War conflicts. This particular example is said by the consignor to be unfired, though no official documentation verifies this. Please inspect images for precise cosmetic and mechanical condition.
