Olympia Beer - Lighted Color Change Motion Sign

Lot # 277 (Sale Order: 276 of 334)      

This lot is for a circa 1960 lighted motion sign for Olympia Beer. The label on the back of the sign called this sign an Olympia Sparlelite Wall Unit. The sign lights up and has an on off switch in the cord. When the sign is on the motor is quiet. The waterfall in the center looks like the water if flowing over the falls. On the right there are some clear plastic finger, these have a color wheel behind them that lights and sends different colors out to the ends on the clear tips, a couple of the tips are loose. Size is approximately 17 1/2 x 10 x 6.

Bronze Statue - Bust of a French Woman with the Inscription "Suele!"

This hollowed bronze bust is of a French woman and bears the inscription "Suele!" (alone!). It measures approximately. 19" tall x 12' wide and weighs 13.5 lbs. It has great details and patina, is exactly as received and has not been cleaned.

1832 United States Liberty Cap Half Dime

This lot is for a United States Liberty Cap Half Dime. The coin is from 1832 and features classic head left flanked by stars with an eagle with arrows in his talons on back. Vintage 1932 Bronze Medal - German DLG Food Company - Mannheim - 38th Travelling Exhibition

Lot # 280 (Sale Order: 279 of 334)      

This vintage bronze medal/medallion is German in origin and was issued for a German food company D.L.G. The obverse features a farmer fancifully whipping his oxen as they drag the plow with the words "38 Wanderausstellung * Mannheim 1932" around the edge. The reverse features a fancy wreath with the German word "MILCH" (milk) and the company name "D.L.G." at the bottom. Measures approx 2 1/4" in diameter and weighs 102.5 grams.

Budweiser 3 different Flat Top Beer Cans

This lot is for three different Budweiser Lager Flat Top Beer Cans. The first list only one city St Louis and is a one sided can with their label with a bottle on the backside. The next two cans are both two sided cans showing the same image of their label on both sides. The one with the top lid cut out lists two cities St Louis and Newark, while the last can with the vanity lid was canned in Newark and lists three cities St Louis, Newark and Los Angeles. These are tough cans with all of the metallic gold. The can with the vanity lid has some humidity spots and all three cans have a flaw or two so please check the pictures provided for condition.

Lot of 2 American Horse Shows Association Award Meal - Winged Pegasus - Medallic Art Co. - 1988

This lot of two silver-plated medals comes from the American Horse Shows Association. These medals appear to have been handed out as awards. The medals are .999 silver-plated and were manufactured by the Medallic Art Company out of Danbury, CT. The obverse features a beautiful winged Pegasus with the words "American Horse Shows Association, Inc." along the top of the Pegasus. Medals measure 2 1/4" in diameter and weigh 76.2 - 76.5 grams. You get both for one money.

Lot of 3 Columbia River Arrowheads - Decker Site - Oregon

Lot # 283 (Sale Order: 282 of 334)      

Offered are three large to medium arrowheads or points. These were found at the Decker site - a well known archeological sight near the town of Warren, Oregon - in 1960. Size is approximately 2 3/4" x 1 1/4" on the largest and 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" on the smallest. The largest has its rear tip broken off and the smallest has a chip to its tip, the medium is clean and very nice. We never found his notes but left any numbers he had on the points on them. All the artifacts we are offering were found by Walt and Gladys Koch members of the Oregon Archeology Society "OAS" between 1955 and 1965.

Lot of 2 Vintage Hand-Painted Wales China Teacups - Made in Japan

This lot of vintage Wales Chinaware features two nearly identical teacups. There is a sticker on the bottom of the cup with the lighter interior that is marked "Hand Painted Wales China Japan." The cup with the darker interior is labeled on the bottom as "Made In Japan." There is some crazing on the cup with the lighter interior; the cup with the darker interior has a chip along its base. Otherwise, these cups are in very good condition. Both measure approximately 2 1/2" in diameter x 2 1/8" high.

1933 Century of Progress Abraham Lincoln Exhibit Souvenir Medal Coin - 1933 Chicago World's Fair

This vintage medal - coin - token comes from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair, named A Century of Progress International Exposition. The obverse shows a right-facing relief bust of Abraham Lincoln, the reverse shows Lincoln's log cabin with the words "Souvenir Lincoln Exhibit Century of Progress Chicago 1933" with "Greenduck Chicago" in smaller type near the bottom of the coin. Measures 32 mm and weighs 11 grams.

Offered is an old Talcum Powder tin for Jergens Oriental Talcum Powder. The tin is in very good condition with minor wear consistent with age. This has the same image of an Oriental Woman on both sides. Under the picture is a 1906 Food and Drug Guarantee description. The lid twists to open with no problem. Colors and writing remain vivid. Size is 4 3/4" x 2 1/8" x 1 3/4".

This lot features four California 12 ounce Flat Top Beer Cans. They are a Brewers Best Bavarian Type Beer from Grace Bros. Brewing Company of Santa Rosa. Next are three different cans all from Maier Brewing Company of Los Angeles. They are a Brew 102, Keg Brand Beer and last a Premium Olde Tyme Lager Beer. This last can has been rolled and the Brewers Best may have a new top lid, it is hard to tell as it is the correct height. The cans all have some small flaws so please check the pictures.

Vintage Wanted Poster - Lane County, Oregon - $50 Reward - Joe Matlock - Circa 1910 - 1920s

Lot # 293 (Sale Order: 292 of 334)      

This vintage wanted poster was issued from H.L. Bown, Sheriff of Lane County in Oregon. It offers a $50 reward for the capture of a one Joe Matlock, wanted for rape. Matlock's picture is prominently displayed while the text describes Matlock's physical appearance as well as his behavior, noting that Matlock "gets drunk quite frequently" and that he "may use dope of some kind." There is a small tear near the top of the poster and it has been folded in half as well as twice lengthwise. Otherwise, the poster is in very good condition. Measures approx. 7" x 11".

Griswold #8 Flat Bottom Kettle

Lot # 294 (Sale Order: 293 of 334)      

This Griswold Erie flat bottom kettle #8 is in good condition, with no pitting, cracks or repairs. It has an attached handle for carrying and a soldered ring on the side. There is no lid with this kettle. This large pot is great for the stove or the campfires. The pot is a nice size and it measures 8 5/8" diameter at the bottom and 9 1/2" inside diameter at the top with an 11 1/8" diameter handle rim to handle rim, it is 6 5/8" high. The bottom is labeled 8, then the Griswold trademark logo, then "ERIE", then 811S. This old beauty was built to last and should give you a lifetime of good cooking.

Blitz Weinhard Counter Top Display Sign

Featured is a great die cut advertising sign for Blitz Weinhard Beer of Portland, Oregon. The sign is circa 1950 as they changed their bottles label in 1956. The sign has a die cut cardboard like back with a plastic glass, bottle and serving tray. This could be placed almost any place or mounted on a wall with the double stick mounting pads on back. Nice size at only 12 1/2 tall x 10 x 3 1/4". We have never seen another of this sign like it before!

1907 Jamestown Tercentennial Expo So-Called Dollar Medal - Norfolk, Virginia

This vintage so-called dollar comes from the Jamestown Tercentennial Exposition, held in Norfolk, Virginia in 1907. The expo commemorated the 300th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown in the Virginia Colony and ran from April 26 through December 1. The obverse features the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria and the USS Virginia while the reverse features a scene of the expo itself with the dates of the expo. Measures 1.5" in diameter and weighs 13.8g.

Cola with an advertisement for her latest movie "I'll Be Seeing You", which was released via United Artists in 1944. This particular fan is guaranteed original with the staple connecting the handle to the fan coming lower on the fan - most reproductions have the staple near Shirley's nose.
