Colgate's Dactylis & Cashmere Bouquet Talc Powder Tins

Lot # 302 (Sale Order: 301 of 334)      

Offered is a pair of old Talc Powder tins for Colgate's Dactylis Talc Powder and Cashmere Bouquet Talc Powder. The tins are both in very good condition with minor wear consistent with age. The back of each tin has a description of the powder. The gold top on the Dactylis tin has some humidity spots on the back side. The lid on both tins twists to open with no problems. Colors and writing remain vivid. Both are the same size at 4 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 3/8".

Lot of 12 Columbia River Basin Arrowheads and Points - Agate - Oregon

Lot # 303 (Sale Order: 302 of 334)      

Offered is a lot of 12 varied Columbia River Arrowheads and points. All of these points are translucent and most are made of agate. The largest is approximately 3/4" x 5/16" and the smallest is 3/8" x 7/16". These are exactly as found with few flaws. These were found by Walt and Gladys Koch members of the OAS. These were found in the Columbia River Basin circa 1960 and have remained in their private collection until now.

Vintage Marbles Assortment

This lot is for an assorted of over 5 pounds of mixed marbles. There are several different styles and types of marbles that range in size from 7/16" up to about 1". Looking through the marbles many look to be in good shape, we did however see some with chips and or scratches so the lot is sold as-is. It looks like some of the marbles may have uranium salts in the glass as a few of the marbles glow in the dark under UV black light.

Double Dot Pepsi Cola Sign - Big Shot

Lot # 305 (Sale Order: 304 of 334)      

Offered is a lithographed Pepsi Cola "Big Shot" bus sign from the 1940's. It has a young boy and girl both holding a paper label double dot Pepsi bottle. By the girls left leg it is artist signed by Whitney Darrow Jr. Size is 28'' x 11'' printed on heavy card stock and in excellent condition - looks unused, we did notice a couple of flaws when held in the light just right there are what look like some water stains on the two right corners and there is a dent / scrape to the "C" in cola and below that in the blue area, these are mentioned for accuracy as they may not show up in the pictures.

Matchbox #23 Trailer Caravan with Box

Lot # 306 (Sale Order: 305 of 334)      

This auction is for a circa 1960 Lesney Product Matchbox Series No. 23 Trailer Caravan with Original Box. The box reads "Matchbox Series 23 - A Lesney Product -- 23 - Trailer Caravan ". The bottom of the car reads Made In England By Lesney - Matchbox Series No. 23 Trailer Caravan". The die cast toy is in unused condition with great paint, black tires and a removable trailer top in white. This is the less common Yellow trailer with correct box. The box has some wear with a tear to the crease on one end flap, both pieces display very well.

1909 Hudson-Fulton Celebration Commemorative Bronze Medal - Whitehead & Hoag Co. - Newburgh

Lot # 307 (Sale Order: 306 of 334)      

This gilt bronze struck medal comes from the 1909 celebration of the 300th anniversary of Henry Hudsons discovery of the Hudson River and the 100th anniversary of Robert Fultons first successful commercial application of the paddle steamer, held in New York and New Jersey from September 25 through October 9. The obverse shows âaccolated busts of Henry Hudson and Robert Fulton facing left with vertical legend: "HUDSON/FULTON." The reverse depicts enthroned allegorical female figure with eagle above and inscription below seat: "NEWBURGH", surrounded by seascape with sailing ships and steamboats. The medal was manufactured by Whitehead & Hoag Co. There are some nicks and dings to the edge of the coin, as well as general wear and patina throughout. Measures approx. 2" in diameter and weighs 67 grams.

Emile Pinedo - LYS - Bronze Statue -Marble Base - Bust of a Woman with Flowers in Her Hair

Lot # 308 (Sale Order: 307 of 334)      

This bronze statue depicts the bust of a woman with flowers in her hair. It bears the mark "LYS" on the front, which places it is a representation of a piece that was done by French artist Emile Pinedo (1840 - 1916). We have no way of authenticating that this statue is an actual piece done by Pinedo - it is most likely a smaller rendition of Pinedo's original piece. The statue/bust measures approximately 14" at its tallest and 7" at its widest. The statue/bust weighs approximately 8 lbs.

Malt Rainier Pre Prohibition Tanker / Mug

Lot # 310 (Sale Order: 309 of 334)      

This is a Pre Prohibition Era tanker style mug. It has a clear glass etched bottom that reads "Malt Rainier". The mug is made of brass with a silver or nickel plating. Malt tonics were a concentrated extract of barley malt that was promoted as a food as well as a tonic with an abundance of nourishment. This was made by Seattle Brewing & Malting Co. The mug shows appropriate wear from its age and use. Size is approximately 2 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" wide at the base.

This lot features 4 Columbia River arrowheads or points. These were found in Oregon circa 1960 at the Wakemap Mound Site. They are all approximately 1 1/4" x 5/8" and in very nice condition. 1900 Great Britain Gold Sovereign Coin

Offered is a 1900 Great Britain Gold Sovereign. One side has Queen Victoria's head facing left, and the reverse has St. George slaying the dragon. The gold purity is .9167% and is equivalent to 22 karats. The actual gold content is .2355 ounces of pure gold and is slightly less than 1/4 of a Troy Ounce. 1915 Pan-Pacific International Expo Opening of Panama Canal Medal Coin

Lot # 317 (Sale Order: 316 of 334)      

This vintage medal / coin comes from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco. It celebrates the opening of the Panama Canal with Mercury on the obverse and features Greek mythology female figures on the reverse. The token appears to be bronze and measures approx. 1.5" in diameter. Weighs 25.4g. There is some wear on either side - otherwise the token is in good condition.

Coca Cola 9 Celluloid T.O.C. Button Sign

Here is a Vintage 9" Tin Over Cardboard Coca Cola Celluloid Button Sign. It has a sticker on the back and was made by Philadelphia Badge Company. This dates from the fifties and features their hobbleskirt bottle they are famous for using. The sign could be hung with a string on the back or sat on a counter using the easel. The sign is used and shows signs of wear from use such as scratches, scuffs, wear etc., there is also a small nick in to the edge on the left side by the C. Has great color and displays well.

Lot of 2 Vintage Seattle Seahawks Season Schedule NFL Posters - 1977 and 1978

These vintage posters are for the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL. We finished the catalog before the playoffs started, so they are either on their way to the championship game or waiting to see what next year brings them. If they are still playing for the super bowl these could be the must have item for the Seahawks fan!
 The posters advertise the teams 1977 and 1978 seasons, the Seahawks' first two seasons as an NFL franchise. Both posters measure 25" x 19" and feature the respective home and away schedules for either season. Both posters also feature advertisements for KIRO Newsradio 71 and Olympia Beer. 1977 features and ad for Red Carpet Real Estate while 1978 features an ad for Chevron. Both posters are in excellent condition and will be ship rolled. You get both for one money.

Offered is a Lionel 165 type I "O" gauge Gantry Crane with Electromagnet from 1940-42. Gantry Cranes are one of Lionel's greatest accessories. Lionel #394 Rotating Beacon Tower

Offered is a Lionel 394 type I O gauge rotating beacon. This was made from 1949-53. This red stamped steel tower was produced in 1949. The Rotary Beacon used the heat from the light bulb to rotate the beacon. It used a special dimpled bulb to center the pin of the beacon head assembly. Size is approximately 12 tall on a 5 x 5 base. Lionel Outfit No 98 Mojave Set With Boxes & Set Box

This great original boxed prewar set no 98 from 1926-27 comes with the 3 car boxes, #253 engine box, and the outfit no 98 set box.
