4 Mission Soda Syrup Glasses

Lot # 51 (Sale Order: 51 of 334)      

This lot is for four identical Mission Soda Glasses. These are from back when the majority of soda was sold at fountains and almost every brand had their own designed glass used for serving. Early soda fountain glasses have a syrup line the mark to which servers filled with syrup before carbonated water was added. These glasses are a very delicate pinkish orange color with white letters and syrup line. Size is 4 x 2 1/2 at the widest point. These glasses are as clean and nice as you will ever find, there are no chips, cracks or fleabites.

1915 Pan-Pacific International Expo So Called Dollar - Oregon State Building

This so called dollar comes from the 1915 Pan-Pacific International Exposition and features the likeness of the expo's Oregon State Building on one side of the token/coin and the state of Oregon seal on the other. The token measures approx. 1.5" in diameter and weighs 24.9 grams.

White Stag countertop Advertising sign

Lot # 56 (Sale Order: 56 of 334)      

This is a vintage White Stag Sign. It features a silhouette of a white stag which was the companys logo since it started in the late 1920s in Portland, Oregon. They made durable outdoor clothing and supplies worn by loggers and mill hands. In the early 1930s they started making downhill skiing apparel. The sign is made of plywood and most likely dates to the 1940s due to the metal shortage during the war. Size is 11 3/4 x 5 1/4".

James G. Blaine 1884 Republican Presidential Candidate Token Coin - 6.4g

Lot # 58 (Sale Order: 58 of 334)      

This token/coin commemorates the 1884 Republican Presidential candidacy of James G. Blaine, who opposed Democratic nominee Grover Cleveland in the election and lost. The token/coin features Blaine's profile on the obverse and a knight riding a horse on the reverse with the inscription "We will follow where the white plume waves." There is a small hole near the top of the coin and light patina and wear throughout - otherwise, the coin is in very good condition. Measures 1" in diameter and weighs 6.4 grams.

Lot of 3 Arrowheads - Wakemap Mound

Lot # 63 (Sale Order: 63 of 334)      

Offered are three very nice large to medium arrowheads or points. They were found at the Wakemap Mound site located near Five Mile Rapids, Wakemap Mound is a mound at the site of Wishram Village. The site is now surrounded by water caused by the construction and completion of The Dalles Dam. Size is approximately 2 1/2" x 1 3/8" on the largest and 1 1/2" x 1 3/8" on the smallest. All the artifacts we are offering were found by Walt and Gladys Koch members of the Oregon Archeology Society "OAS" between 1955 and 1965.

Hip'-pen-ing Film Festival Poster - December 1967 - San Francisco

It took a bit of effort for us to decode this particular poster for an event at 622 Broadway in San Francisco on December 4 & 11, 1967. It was called the Hippening Film Festival. Some of the highlights apparently included a film called "GRASS! Before & After" as well as dancers and other performers. The poster art is by S.Virgil. It is used; with no tape or tack holes it has been folded. Size is 11" x 17"

Set of 2 Vintage Mini-Calendars - Wrigley's P.K. Chewing Gum - 1923 & 1924

This set of vintage mini-calendars are advertising for Wrigley's P.K. chewing gum, "After every meal, the flavor lasts." There is a calendar for the year 1923 and one for 1924. Both calendars have their staple in tact - 1923 starts at May and 1924 starts at April. It is important to note that these calendars measure approximately. 5 1/2" tall by 3 3/4" wide. Fun fact - the "P.K." is in honor of Philip Knight Wrigley (who often went by simply P.K.), the son of Wrigley's founder William Wrigley, Jr.

Lucky Lager Lighted Beer Sign

Offered is a light up beer sign for Lucky Lager Beer. It lists breweries in San Francisco & Los Angeles California as well as Vancouver, Washington. The sign has a metal housing with a wooden frame and plastic face. The signs face has three raised looking tiles pressed in to it that read "It's Lucky - When you live - In America". This was a long running advertising campaign they did in the 1950s. Size is approximately 21" x 11" x 2 1/2". The sign has great color to the face with what look like some age cracks to the inside of the brown paint - some light is noticeable in these painted areas.

Blatz Beer R.O.C. Glass sign

Lot # 71 (Sale Order: 71 of 334)      

This lot is for a vintage unused Blatz Beer Sign. It is a R.O.C. or Reverse On Glass painted sign. The image is painted on the back side of the glass allowing for easy care of the sign. This sign was never used and was quite versatile in how it could be displayed. There is a string for hanging the sign, two strips of double sided tape for placing right on a wall or cooler door and an unfolded metal easel on back to stand on a shelf or counter. The sign has a metal gold frame and is 8 5/8 x 4 5/8. It has wonderful gold and black lettering and is waiting to be added to your collection!

Offered is a collection of 9 varied Columbia River Arrowheads and points. These offer a great cross section of the material which is to be found nowhere else in the world.. The largest is approximately 1 1/2" x 1/2" and the smallest is 7/8" x 5/16". These are exactly as found with few flaws. These were found by Walt and Gladys Koch members of the OAS. These were found in the Columbia River Basin over several years with no location listed. These have remained in their private collection until now. Some points have numbers on one side we never found his records but left the numbers on the points.

Vintage Pre-Prohibition Acid Etched Beer Glass - Mt. Hood Brewing Co. - Portland, Oregon

Lot # 74 (Sale Order: 74 of 334)      

This pre-Prohibition acid etched beer glass is from the Mt. Hood Brewing Co. of Portland, Oregon - not to be confused with the current Mt. Hood Brewing Co. of Government Camp, Oregon. The etching on this glass is worn, but it is still very much visible on the glass itself. As well, the gold on the rim of the glass is worn and fading in certain spots. The etching on the glass features Mt. Hood Brewing's logo, which itself features a picture of Mt. Hood, and the words "Drink Mt. Hood Beer." Measures approx. 3 3/4" tall and 2 1/4" in diameter. In good condition with one small chip near the rim of the glass.
