Morrey Reznik, owner of the Jewel Box in Phoenix Arizona (a pawnshop that was really big into firearms and the collecting of them) was an avid supporter and enthusiast of...more the MBAssociates Gyrojet Rocket Guns when they came out in the mid-1960s. This serial No. A0020 was one of Morrey's. Included with this special experimental Rocket pistol is correspondence between the owners of the company and Morrey, along with a certificate for the pistol and another certificate certifying Morrey as a certified operator of the Gyrojet. There is a lot of original paperwork from the 1960s included with the package. Additionally, a 2010 copy of, "An Introduction to MBA Gyrojets, and Other Ordinance" by Mel Carpenter, is included with the lot. This book was personalized to Steve Reznik, Morrey's son, who ran the Jewel Box, starting in the 1980s and eventually inherited this gun. It comes with its original box and ten 13mm faux projectiles (these particular bullets are for the display). Dozens of original brochures that were sent to the Jewel Box for distribution are also included. This unique and historical piece was made in 1965 and comes with the box and other ephemera as pictured. Maker: MBAssociates. Serial No. A0020. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description. Shipping: There will be a $15 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that. *****This firearm requires an FFL Transfer*****
