Cobra/ Wilson Combat - 18" Match Grade, AR-15, 6.8 SPC (6.8x43mm), Semi-Auto, SN - 067

Lot # 276

After a tremendous amount of research and testing by Bill Wilson and the Wilson Combat team, 6.8 SPC was developed for better terminal effects while still having an accep...moretable long range trajectory. The 6.8 SPC (6.8x43mm) was initially developed by MSG Steve Holland and Chris Murray, a United States Army Marksmanship Unit gunsmith,to offer superior downrange lethality over the 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington in an AR pattern service rifle with minimal loss of magazine capacity and a negligible increase in recoil. When built to the level of quality and precision Wilson Combat has achieved, the 6.8 SPC is also capable of outstanding accuracy and reliability. In Wilson Combat's match-grade, Spec II barrels, the 6.8 SPC is capable of pushing a .277 caliber, 85gr bullet to over 2900 FPS. 110gr bullets easily achieve 2500 FPS with factory loaded ammunition. Appropriate hand loading can achieve even higher velocities and enable the use of heavier projectiles up to 130 grains, which dramatically improves terminal ballistics over a 5.56 Nato/.223 Remington at long range. This added ballistic performance makes the 6.8 SPC perfect for home protection and SRT/SWAT teams. The 6.8 is a truly ideal hunting round for medium to heavy game and turns the AR into a serious hunting rifle. In 2003, Cobra Tactical Inc. started building custom Mil-Spec AR parts & accessories. Cobra's owner, a Marine Corps Veteran, understands firsthand the importance of high-quality guns & gear, and has now devoted his life to producing a superior product than any compensator. This custom AR rifle is built on a Cobra-15 lower unit and sports a full Wilson Combat upper, 18" Wilson Combat match grade Spec II barrel with 1/11 twist, 10.25" Wilson Combat vented aluminum handguard, 1.5" Wilson Combat slant slotted flash suppressor, Magpul ACS 6-position stock, Magpul black rubber grip with ribbed straps & trapdoor compartment, full length Picatinny rail and M-223 scope mount with integral rings. This gun is in nice condition with no wear to speak of, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order.... Ruger, PC Carbine (16" Threaded), 9mm Luger, Semi-Auto, SN - 910-21609

Lot # 280

The Ruger PC Carbine Semi-Auto Rifle is a well-balanced, fast-handling weapon that delivers rapid fire. The carbine is adaptable, with interchangeable magazine wells, for...more use with either GLOCK pistol magazines or Ruger pistol magazines. The receiver is CNC-milled from a 7075-T6 aluminum billet and type-III hard-coat anodized for maximum durability and the receiver comes with an integrated Picatinny rail. The durable, glass-filled nylon synthetic stock has a forward-mounted accessory rail, proprietary texturing on the grip surfaces, and a rubber buttpad with spacers to adjust length of pull. The PC Carbine takes down quickly for storage or transport, by pushing a recessed lever and twisting the barreled forend from the receiver and pulling them apart. The 16" heavy-contour barrel features fluting for faster heat dispersion and a threaded muzzle. The rear aperture sight adjusts for windage and elevation, and the front post is protected by wings on both sides. The dead blow action features a multi-piece bolt assembly that reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise for enhanced fire control. The light, crisp trigger also uses 10/22 trigger components. This PC Carbine comes equipped with a Burris luminated red-dot sight. 1967 Beretta, S56 Golden Snipe - Satin Chrome (26" IM/ IC), 12 Ga., O/U, SN - 62854

Lot # 288

Beretta created their first over/ under shotgun in 1933, the Model S1. Borrowed from British and German designs, the S1 featured sidelocks, a low-profile action, and doub...morele Kersten locks. Beretta followed up this gun with a boxlock version they called the ASE (Anson Sovrapposta Ejectors). The New York Times reviewed one in 1948, and reported: “It’s a beautifully balanced, light gun..” In 1955, they introduced the S55 (Silver Snipe), S56 (Golden Snipe), and S57 (Ruby Snipe). These O/Us combined features of the S1 and ASE. Compared to a Browning Superposed, all the Snipes weighed less. Over time, these guns evolved into some of the best-selling O/Us ever, like the Beretta 686 and the S687 Silver Pigeon. This Beretta S56 Golden Snipe was made in 1967, and sports a satin chrome receiver with scroll engraved accents & guardian angel underneath, gold trigger, walnut stock with deep cut outline checkering/ fluted comb & gloss finish, black grip cap with starburst design, black rubber buttpad with black/ white spacers, 26.5" IM/ IC barrels, dual automatic ejectors, tang safety/ barrel selector, serrated vent-rib with silver bead front sight, 14.25" LOP and 2 3/4" chamber. 1956 B.S.A., Regal "Mini-Mauser", 22 Hornet, Bolt-Action, SN - C1B2046

Lot # 289

Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) was formed in the 1860s and the original company went bankrupt in the 1970s. Over the years, BSA built everything from guns to motorcycles (ev...moreen Daimler automobiles), and were the first large manufacturer in the UK to apply assembly-line practices and interchangeable parts to their production - including guns. BSA supplied weapons and ammunition to Britain and allied forces during both world wars. During inter-war years, as well as after WWII through the 1970s, BSA manufactured a wide variety of Sporting Rifles for civilian use. The BSA Regal, sometimes referred to as a "BSA Mini-Mauser," was only made for a few short years in the mid-1950s. These civilian sporting rifles were commonly available in .222 Rem. and 22 Hornet. BSA also built a similar rifle, called the "Hunter", with the only difference being the stock shape. Both guns were ultimately replaced with a much larger, less Mauser-like action that was also used for the small cartridges. Concurrently, BSA made a medium and large version of the same action for .308 and .30-06 sized cartridges, respectively. This BSA Regal was made in 1956, and sports a one-piece French walnut stock with raised cheek/ fluted comb/ grooved forearm with Schnabel tip & gloss finish, black checkered grip cap with diamond design, Pachmayr White-Line black cushioned rubber buttpad with spacers, 24" tapered barrel with polished blued finish, hooded ramp front sight, hinged floorplate with trigger guard release, sling studs and Lyman Perma-Center scope (scope crosshairs are damaged). This gun is in nice condition with very light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order.

Early 1950s Belgium FN/ JC Higgins, Model 50, 270 Win., Bolt-Action, SN - 17355

Lot # 291

The J.C. Higgins Model 50 was the creation of the Sears and Roebuck Co. from 1951 to 1955. It was produced by Belgium's Fabrique Nationale using a commercial 98 Mauser ac...moretion and 22" chrome lined barrel from High Standard. The bolt is the traditional controlled feed type with a one-piece polished bolt body, one-piece firing pin, and a two-position short-throw 45 degree safety to accommodate the use of a scope. The bolt handle is consistent with the "Second Pattern FN Action" in that it sweeps back to allow clearance for a scope. The bolt head has the traditional two locking lugs and the rear safety lug. The extractor is large and prominent. The bolts used on these FN Belgium made actions are of the highest quality and durability. The drilled and tapped receiver, hinged floorplate, trigger guard, and magazine follower are all made from milled steel. The floorplate has a button release for emptying the cartridges, and the trigger is grooved for a positive feel. The trigger mechanism on the Model 50 is heavy but there is minimal creep. The overriding consensus among firearm collectors, regarding the J.C. Higgins Model 50, is that it's a rifle worth holding on to if you have one, and worth seeking out if you do not. Despite the department store association, which is usually not desirable to collectors, the Model 50 is among the finest hunting rifles ever mass produced. This Model 50 sports a smooth one-piece walnut stock with fluted comb & oiled finish, black grip cap with white spacer, brown rubber buttpad with basket weave checkering & black spacer, 22" barrel with high luster polished blued finish, stainless bolt & handle, rear dovetail insert, ramped front dovetail insert and sling rings. This gun is in nice condition with very light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order.

The T/C Icon seems to have taken every good idea in long guns and blended it into what might be considered the ultimate, off-the-shelf hunting rifle. Features of the new T/C Icon include a button rifled match-grade barrel, checkered walnut stock with aluminum bedding block, integral Weaver-type bases, adjustable trigger mechanism, detachable single-column magazine, easy strip stainless jeweled bolt, low bolt lift angle, 3-lug bolt and three recoil lugs. This T/C Icon sports a 24" barrel chambered for 243 Win. This gun is in same-as-new condition with no wear to speak of, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order.
