Smith & Wesson, 637-2 Airweight, 38 Special, Revolver (W/ Box), SN - CTK1284

Lot # 104

The streamline, lightweight design of the Smith & Wesson Model 637 Airweight makes it an ideal concealed carry double-action revolver. 1 Of 23,000 - 1971 Winchester, M1894 NRA Centennial Musket, 30-30 Win., (NIB), SN - NRA36661

Lot # 109

This full-stocked .30-30 lever action Winchester Model 1894 NRA Centennial Musket is a throwback to vintage military rifle configuration. Created to commemorate the 100-y...moreear anniversary of the NRA, 23,000 muskets were made and offered in 1971. Musket versions harken back to the military configuration of earlier days, offering a 26-inch barrel for increased velocity and longer, more precise sight radius; a ladder-type rear sight for extreme-range “volley” fire; and a full-length musket-style forearm to protect the hand when shooting became hot and heavy. Even though these rifles were manufactured in 1971, seven years after the 1964 Winchester economizing debacle, the Model 1894 NRA Centennial Musket lever-action rifle displays very good workmanship. Wood-to-metal fit is superior to most post-94s and the polish/ bluing is exceptional. Like any other Winchester Model 1894, this Centennial Musket is a tube-fed lever action with an exposed hammer. Load it through a gate in the right side of the action. Magazine capacity is seven rounds. Other features include an engraved receiver "1871 NRA 1971" with scroll accents, silver medallion stock inlay, adjustable folding ladder rear sight, dovetailed front sight and sling rings. Thus gun is in new/ unfired condition with no wear to speak of, and comes in original box.

1942 WWII German, French M1935A, 7.65×20mm Longue, Semi-Auto, SN - B9024A

Lot # 110

The French Model 1935A is a semi-automatic pistol developed in 1937 for French military trials. It was developed by the Swiss-born Charles Petter, a former captain in the...more French Foreign Legion and an engineer of the French company SACM. Petter designed the pistol with some of the same design elements as John Browning's M1911 pistol, such as the grooved slide and barrel which interlocked and recoil together. Initial production of the 1935A began in 1937, and the pistol began delivery to the French Army in late 1939, with a total of about 10,700 pistols built before German forces occupied the SACM factory in the summer of 1940. The Germans continued production of the 1935A, now designated the "Pistole 625 (f)", with about 23,850 pistols made for the German forces. Following the end of the German occupation of France in 1944, SACM resumed production of the 1935A for the French military making a further 50,400 pistols. In total, about 84,950 1935A pistols were produced between October, 1937, and February, 1950. This Model 1935A "Pistole 625 (f)" was made under German occupation in 1942, and is Nazi proofed WaA251. Features include a matte black finish, 4.25" barrel, black checkered grips, serrated semi-concealed round hammer, fixed sights and 8-round magazine. This gun sports a modern parkerized finish and is in good condition with light wear, has a sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order.

1995 Browning, P35 Hi-Power, 9mm Luger, Semi-Auto (W/ Case), SN - 2W5NV53743

Lot # 112

The Browning Hi-Power Pistol was introduced in 1935 based on a design by John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Herstal, Belgium. T...morehe pistol is often referred to as an HP or BHP and the terms P-35 and HP-35 are also used based on the introduction of the pistol in 1935. During WWII, production was moved to Canada as the Germans occupied Belgium, and this is where the name was changed to "Hi Power". The name change was kept even after production returned to Belgium after the war. The Hi-Power is one of the most widely used military pistols in history, having been used by the armed forces of over 50 countries. Browning P35 Hi-Powers were first imported into the US in 1954. After 82 years of continuous production, FN Herstal announced that the production of the Hi-Power would end, and it was discontinued in early 2018 by Browning Arms. However, in 2022, presumably to compete with the sudden surge in Hi-Power popularity, FN announced they would resume production of the Browning Hi-Power. This Browning P35 Hi-Power was made in Belgium in 1994, and features a 4.7" stainless barrel, two-piece checkered walnut grips, dovetailed rear sight, single action trigger and serrated spur hammer. This gun is in good condition with some wear, has a sharp/ clean bore, appears to be in good working order and comes in a grey Browning hardcase.

1962 Belgium Browning, "Twelvette" Dragon Black, 12 Ga. (28" MOD), Semi-Auto, SN - 2A41676

Lot # 115

The Browning Double Automatic Shotgun "Twelvette" was produced from 1955 to 1971. These guns were, and are, the enigma of the shotgun realm and certainly one of the grand...moreest autoloaders to ever grace the field or range. It was the creation of Val Browning, John Moses Browning's son. In 1952 Val Browning received a patent for a “speed loading” mechanism he integrated into his new shotgun and started production of the radically designed Browning Double Auto. Since the barrel only moved about 1/2", it was christened a “short-recoil-action” shotgun. Eliminating the “double shuffle” effect of the A5, his new design considerably reduced the felt recoil of the 12-gauge cartridge. Another unique feature of the Double Auto is it has no magazine. The second round sits on the shell carrier and is visible in the open loading port on the left side of the receiver. The lack of a magazine does away with the fore end cap. This “sleeks” the appearance of the gun and until the currently produced Browning Maxus, the Double Auto was the only autoloading shotgun ever produced without a fore end cap. The Double Auto is the fastest shotgun to load in existence. When the bolt is locked to the rear, the gun is loaded by simply inserting a cartridge into the loading port. This automatically activates the shell holder and feeds the round into the chamber. A second round can then be placed in the port on the shell holder. For a right-handed shooter, this can be accomplished while holding the gun by the pistol grip. To drop the bolt on an empty chamber for storage, there is a carrier latch at the bottom-front of the action that can be pushed forward to release the bolt. The gun also has a unique, ambidextrous safety. Early A5s had a sliding lever protruding down in front of the trigger located inside the trigger guard. While ambidextrous and quick, it was distinctly hazardous, particularly if the shooter was wearing gloves or just had thick fingers. Subsequent “improvements” to the A5 replaced the safety with a traditional cross-bolt button. Val improved upon his father’s design by placing a vertically sliding block behind the trigger, mounted on the backside of the trigger guard. The safety can be deactivated with either hand without requiring the trigger finger to be placed inside the trigger guard. The Double Auto was made in three versions. The initial model was manufactured with a steel receiver which are referred to as the “Standard” Model and were manufactured from 1952–1960. A “Lightweight” model was manufactured from 1952–1956 at which point it was rechristened and marked “Twelvette.” In 1957, an even lighter model, the “Twentyweight,” was introduced. The Twelvettes with aluminum receivers were offered in a variety of colors: Dragon Black, Autumn Brown, Velvet Gray and Forest Green while the Standard (Steel) model came in traditional blue. This Browning Double Automatic "Twelvette" "Dragon Black" was made in Belgium in 1962, and sports a black aluminum receiver with gold filled floral engravings & scroll accents, checkered walnut stock with fluted comb/ round "lightning" grip & gloss finish, gold trigger, 28" MOD barrel, serrated vent-rib with silver bead front sight, black hard rubber buttpad, 14.5" LOP and 2 3/4" chamber. This gun will have a small chip in the forearm on the right side, but otherwise is in beautiful condition and appears to be in good working order.

Browning, A-Bolt Hunter Shotgun, 12 Ga. (22" Rifled), Bolt-Action (W/ Box), SN - 02679ZZ151

Lot # 119

Since its introduction in 1985, the A-Bolt bolt-action rifle has remained a stalwart in the Browning lineup. Perhaps the most specialized model to appear in the period si...morence is the 12-gauge A-Bolt Shotgun, which made its debut in 1995, and was removed from company literature a mere four years later. 1974 Winchester, Model 12 "Y Series", 12 Ga. (30" FULL), Pump, SN - Y2013043

Lot # 123

The Winchester Model 12 has been popularly named the "Perfect Repeater". It was designed by Winchester engineer, T.C. Johnson, and was based in part on the M1893/97 desig...moren by John M. Browning in that it used a sliding forearm or "pump action" to cycle the mechanism. With forged and machined steel parts, the ultimate reason for discontinuation in 1964 was that it was too expensive to produce at a competitive price. Special production examples were produced by Winchester & Browning through specialized gun collector purchase programs, but the original "Perfect Repeater" shotgun was never mass produced after 1964. Winchester Model 12s with a "Y" serial number prefix represent guns that were sold after 1968, by Winchester, in small distribution runs with existing pre-64 receivers. These "Y Series Guns" are believed to have been distributed until the mid-to-late 1970s with approximately 26,000 sold. This Model 12 "Y Series" was distributed in 1974, and features an outline diamond checkered walnut stock with fluted comb & gloss finish, black grip cap, jeweled bolt/ shell lifter, 30" FULL barrel, serrated vent-rib with dual white bead sights, Winchester brown rubber buttpad with black spacer, 2 3/4" chamber and 14.5" LOP. This gun is in nice condition with very light wear, to include a very small hairline crack under the grip at the rear and appears to be in good working order.
