Remington, 1100 Classic Trap, 12 Ga. (30" RemChoke), Semi-Auto (W/ Box), SN - R200076V

Lot # 75

Designed by Wayne Leek and Robert Kelley, the Remington Model 1100 was introduced in 1963 as a successor to the Model 58 and Model 878 gas operated shotguns. It was the f...moreirst autoloader to combine the repeat-shot versatility of early-century models with the sleek, modern lines and handling qualities of revered double barrels. The 1100 Trap Model was first introduced in 1970, and is still being used today by competitive shooters due to its superior performance and handling qualities. This Model 1100 Classic Trap features a B-Grade American walnut stock with handsome hi-gloss finish & cut-checkering. Designed to provide a proper fit, the competition-style stock has a 1 7/16" drop at the comb, 2" drop at the heel and 14 1/2" length of pull. This soft-recoiling, 12-gauge autoloader has also been optimized to handle 2 3/4" target and light field loads. Other features include a floral scroll engraved receiver with a gold American Eagle inlay on the left side, gold trigger, black grip cap with white "RA" logo, brown rubber recoil pad with black/ white spacers, silver action button, 30" Target Contour barrel and serrated vent-rib with silver mid-bead & white bead front sight. This gun will have a very light box wear spot on the right side of the receiver, but otherwise is in beautiful same-as-new condition, appears to be in good working order, and comes in box with Mercury Recoil Suppressor & manual.

1953 Winchester, Model 71 Deluxe, 348 WCF, Lever-Action, SN - 35104

Lot # 77

The Winchester Model 71 lever-action rifle was made from 1935 to 1958, and is known as "the finest big bore lever gun that has ever been". It was primarily chambered for ...morethe .348 Winchester round; except for a very small number in .45-70 Government and .33 WCF. The Model 71 was conceived as a replacement for both the Model 1886 and Model 1895 as a complement to the Winchester Model 70 bolt-action rifle and to replace a raft of cartridges with just one--the .348 Winchester. Unfortunately, economics caused the rifle to be very expensive to produce, and with less costly lever action rifles available, it was ultimately deemed not cost effective for Winchester to produce & compete. The Model 71 was produced in only two primary variants: Standard and Deluxe, both in rifle versions with 24-inch barrels and carbines with 20-inch barrels and pistol grip stocks. The Deluxe had a checkered pistol grip and fore-end and detachable sling-swivel studs. The Standard had smooth wood and no factory sling swivel studs. This Model 71 Deluxe was made in 1953, and sports an outline checkered walnut stock with fluted comb, black grip cap, 24" barrel, checkered metal buttplate, adjustable elevator rear sight, hooded ramped dovetail front sight, sling-swivel studs and 4-round tubular magazine. This rifle is in nice condition with some light wear, has a sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order.

1977 Smith & Wesson, Model 41, 22 LR, Semi-Auto, SN - A323211

Lot # 78

The Smith & Wesson Model 41 is a semi-automatic pistol developed after World War II as a competitive target pistol. It was designed with a 105 degree grip angle, the same...more as the Colt M1911 pistol to maintain a consistent grip angle. In July, 1947, two prototypes—numbered X-41 and X-42—were produced, tested, and improved for the next 10 years. In 1957, the Model 41 was made available to the public. Barrels are honed and button-rifled for accuracy and have a reputation for being the most accurate available for a handgun. In 1992, the Model 41 was dropped from production. In 1994, Smith & Wesson returned it to production as the Model 41 (New Model). This Model 41 was made in 1977, and sports a 5.5" barrel, polished blued-steel construction, adjustable rear sight, Patridge front sight, cocking indicator, checkered walnut grips with flared flat bottom & thumb rests, 12-groove front strap and cocking indicator. Remington, 11-87 Premier Upland Special, 20 Ga. (23" RemChoke), Semi-Auto (NIB), SN - TL013243

Lot # 91

1899 Winchester, Model 1895 Rifle, 30 U.S. (30-40 Krag.), Lever-Action, SN - 22895

Lot # 97

Winchester’s Model 1895 Rifle & Carbine was John Browning’s last and strongest lever-action design. It was also Winchester’s first to incorporate a box-type magazine comp...moreatible with pointed bullets. Introduced in 1895, it served in at least nine wars. Slightly more than 425,000 were made before the model was officially discontinued in 1936. A few more were made by special order until 1940. Although chambered in 10 different cartridges, vintage Model 1895s are most commonly encountered in the United States in .30-40 Krag. (also known as .30 U.S. or .30 Army). The rifle is most commonly associated today with former President Theodore Roosevelt, who took two M1895 rifles with him on his 1909 safari to East Africa, famously referring to them as his "'medicine guns for lions". This M1895 30 U.S. Rifle was made in 1899, and features a smooth walnut stock with Schnabel forearm & black inlayed tip, 26" Nickel Steel barrel, adjustable elevator rear sight, dovetailed Marbles #5 front sight, crescent metal buttplate, self-locking lever loop and 4-round box magazine. This gun is showing some age to include some early stock cracks, but still retains a nice sharp bore and appears to be in good working order.
