.45 ACP, s/n 235451, pistol, brl length 5", semi auto, very good condition, Manufactured in 1918 with a 2 line address having last patent date of Aug. 19, 1913 with rear ...moreserrations, left side of slide is roll marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" with right side of slide marked "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY", bluing is in excellent condition with only a very few light tool marks under it at left front and rear on slide as well as on right side of slide showing a few pin point pit marks under finish as well, top of barrel is marked with what appears to be an "I/U", 2 tone magazine having circle "F" stamp along with 1169, checkered double diamond grip panels show little wear, J.M. Gilbert monogram inspection initials under slide stop left side of frame, lanyard ring, bore has shine 8-3-20

General Guy H. Drewry mark just below take down/slide stop lever and a "P" just below magazine release button, the finish on slide is of a matte finish two-tone type with front portion being slightly darker, metal surfaces show little wear with brown checkered grip panels show thinning of checkering, serrated slide with fixed sights, bore shines, bottom of magazine is marked "19200-/ASSY 5508694/ MFR. 1M291", lanyard ring 8-3-15

U.S.A" there is an "FJA/P" inspection mark left side of frame, fully adjustable "Micro" rear sight with serrated blade front, Parkerized finish showing only slight finish losses on front edges of slide left side, wood checkered grip panels show little wear with textured rubber applied front strap cover, checkered back strap with lanyard ring, 1 mag, bore shines 8-3-22

SMOOTH BORE" with 2 line barrel address on top, smooth walnut pistol grip stock with ribbed forend shows handling marks throughout mostly light with most visible either side of forend at rear and top of stock by receiver, blued checkered butt plate shows a few spots of very light surface rust that appears should be able to clean up easily, bluing on receiver is thinning left side show some very light pinpoint pitting in some areas and thinning on some edges, barrel shows thinning of bluing as does tube magazine with very little handling marks and slide just from cycling the rifle, bore shines mirror bright 8-8-6
