A bisque head with sleep eyes, open mouth, and blonde mohair wig forms the peak of a silk covered parasol; the parasol serves as the doll's costume, and her composition feet are the handle of the parasol, hidden beneath the "costume" in the parasol frame, which opens and closes as though the costume is flaring or not. Bisque and frame are excellent, mechanism functions well, silk is somewhat frail. The bisque head is marked Halbig K*R 15. Circa 1900....more
