This is a desk model of a U.S. P-51D Mustang fighter plane. With individual missiles and detailed applied insignia, this piece is an excellent representation of the craft. The tail-fin is marked "472218." The scale is 1:38. It is a plastic composite. It is removable from the stand. Showcased here is a is a lot of 25 Pre-WWII and WWII era U.S. Navy photos. The photos have been attached to three separate album pages made of black construction paper. The photos, which depict various civilian scenes, very in size from 1.75" by 2" to 3" by 4.25". The album pages measure 10" by 13" and have significant deterioration and wear. The photos do show wear consistent with age, including toning and curling, but are overall in fair to good condition.

This embroidered silk souvenir banner was made in India as a take-home for U.S. military personnel during WW II. This piece is decorated with a representation of the Taj Mahal. The cloth is purple silk, with fringe border, and the design is done in light green and gold tone thread. There are a few minor thread snags and wear spots on this item but overall it is in excellent condition. The size is 17" x 17". This is wonderful ornamental banner.

Here is a very interesting lot of early 1950s Korean War era pilot's items, including 40 plus photographs, 5 patches and a silver bullion wing on tan twill. The patches measure between 2 and 3 inches in diameter. The wing is 3 inches long. The photographs included in this auction are divided between touristic shots of Korea and intimate scenes from the life of this pilot (name unknown). Some of the photos show curling and yellowing, one has surface scuffs. The items in this lot do have wear consistent with age, but overall they are in excellent condition and offer an fascinating glimpse into the life of an early Air Force flyer.

The photos show the boy's participation in daily base activities such as radio communication and his introduction to base officials. The lot includes twelve 8" by 10" photos and eight smaller photos of varying sizes. The photos show light to heavy wear consistent with age, including curling, tanning and some surface wear, but overall they are in good condition.

This modern Air Force flight suit is made from a durable poly-cotton fabric and sized extra large. The approximate measurements of this item are: inseam 27", sleeve 22", waist 28" across. The flight suit is in very good condition, with a few tiny white spots - possibly from storage, and appears never to have been issued or worn.
