German Military WWI-II P-08 Luger 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol FFL #5528

Lot # 163 (Sale Order: 30 of 267)

This 1917 dated WWI produced Imperial German P-08 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol was stamped 1920 for use by the Reichswehr after WWII. It later saw service in WWII and was re-stamped by the Nazi Government. It is a 9mm DWM produced pistol and is mechanically tight. It is in near mint condition with 96% original finish and excellent bore. It has beautiful checkered wood grips, very good "straw" on the correct pieces, and a matching wood bottom magazine. All other parts match and this Luger comes with a 1941 dated black leather flap holster (WaA788) with a Nazi proofed loading tool. An opportunity to own a pistol that saw service with three different German Governments and in two World Wars!

This re-finished Imperial German P-08 Luger 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol is in very good condition with 98% of it's blued finish. It has and fair/good bore, faint import marks, new grips and a wood bottom magazine. It has no date or proofs, but the visible serial numbers appear to match. It is a good looking Luger and a decent shooter.

A mis-matched German Reichswehr "Sneak" P-08 Luger 7.65mm Semi-Auto Pistol in good condition. It has commercial proofs, no toggle marks, no lug and no receiver date. The finish is lightly pitted, the bore is fair and the magazine is an ERMA. It has good original grips and the front strap is regimentally marked "B.8.R.1.2." (Bavarian 8th Regtiment, 1st Company, 2nd pistol).

This re-finished German Nazi 1942 dated WWII P-08 Luger 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol is in good condition with 95% of it's re-blued finish. It is partially matching (toggle grouping and magazine different numbers), bore is very good, and it has nice checkered grips. THe black leather holster might be for a P-38 as well as a Luger, has the loading tool pouch, and is in good but worn condition. A good represenative Luger you can shoot!

Most of these are fake, but from the history and our examination - we believe this one is correct. It has applied silver SS runes, is maker marked "FX Huller & Co Graslitz 1941" and has a attached cord. Condition is good+, with some tarnishing and a few dings. It is complete with mouthpiece and is an attractive display piece.

Afrika Korps WWII "Old Jamaica Rhum" Bottle

This is a bottle of WWII era "Old Jamaica Rhum", first captured by Rommel's Afrika Korps at Trobuk in North Africa. It was later transferred to Italy in large casks where it was subsequently captured by the US 5th Army. At that point is was bottled, labeled and tagged for use by Allied forces. An interesting war souvenir, complete with a small booklet detailing its history. The bottle is in very good condition with a faded label, but they is no guarantee the contents (about half full) are still potable!

This is a bottle of WWII era "Special Brand-Old Scotch Whiskey", first captured by Rommel's Afrika Korps at Trobuk in North Africa. Original US Military WWII D-Day Omaha Beach-West Invasion Map

This looks like an original US Military WWII issued D-Day Omaha Beach-West Invasion Map in fair to good condition. But it is stamped with the 50th anniversary stamp, and were given out to dignitaries during the anniversary events. It measures 18"x 24" and certainly looks original showing soiling fold marks and silverfish damage to one side (see photos). Still, we think this is a reproduction, you be the judge on this one.

Rare US Army Woman's Air Force African-American Large Group Lot

A rare and fascinating group lot of US Army Woman's Air Force African-American photographs from a traveling historical display. Hundreds of original WWII black & white photos of African-American officer and enlisted women portraits, group shots, candids, unit and work photos taken by Army photgraphers. Many have neatly typed captions detailing information on the photos. There is a wealth of information displayed on cardboard exhibits, designed to show the contributions of these women. They come packed in several large leather binders for easy trasport and would be a great research asset. Many great shots of uniform and insignia details of this little known aspect of WWII.

US Navy WWII Silver Officers Wardroom Mess Utensil off the Aircraft Carrier USS Randolph

A very nice and rare set of US Navy WWII Silver Officers Wardroom Mess Utensil off the WWII Essex class Aircraft Carrier USS Randolph (CV-15). There are a total of 54 pieces in a felt lined fancy wood box. The mess wear is hallmarked and all are in very good condition. Obtained directly from a veteran off the Randolph, the set comes with some information on the ship's history.
