Austrian Cavalry Officers Damascus Blade Presentation Sword, 33.5" triple-etched and gold washed Damascus blade. Obverse side of the blade is etched above the ricasso wit...moreh gold washed background, scroll floral patterns, crossed swords, and "Echt Damast". Above this the blade is inscribed "Fur Eingang an Die Infanterie Equitation vom Tahre 1871/72.", which translates to "For Entry to the Infantry Equitation From the Year 1871/72." Reverse side of the blade with similar etched patterns and the ricasso is stamped "CC" and what looks like an "M". Spine with gold washed decorative etched design. Pierced guard with twisted wire wrapped sharkskin grip. Steel scabbard with single fixed suspension rings. Sword is fine overall, Damascus pattern is clearly visible, less than 50% of the gold wash remains. There is cleaned pitting on the ricasso and flat spot at the tip of the blade. Etched patterns and inscriptions are clear. Guard with a few spots of rust patina, otherwise showing light toning from age. Handle is missing a portion of the wire wrapping, sharkskin shows light age and wear. Scabbard has a dark brown patina throughout and there is a noticeable dent on the obverse side, near the tip. It does not interfere with the blade coming in and out of the scabbard. Est.: $800-$1,000.

Imperial German M.1889 Infantry Officers Damascus Blade Sword, 28.5" etched Damascus blade with double fullers. Obverse is marked in gold "Pro Patria et Honore", which is...more Latin and translates to "For Country and Honor". Reverse side of the blade is marked in gold lettering "Die Leib Familie" or "Biological Family". Spine is makers marked "M. Neumann, Hoflieferant Berlin". Decorated brass hilt has a folding clamshell with Prussian eagle and Wilhelm the 2nd monogram. D-shaped guard, sharkskin covered grip is triple wrapped in twisted wire, with "WR II" monogram on the obverse side. Black painted steel scabbard with single loose suspension ring. Sword is very good overall, Damascus pattern is visible, with scattered spots of darkening, no nicks or blemishes to the edge, and the blade comes to a sharp point. Gold wash shows age and wear, still a majority remains. Hilt displays moderate toning and fits a little loosely. Sharkskin with scuffs and wear, wire wrapping remains secure. Black painted scattered with considerable flaking and wear, no dents. Est.: $700-$900.

Imperial German Triple-Etched Cuirassier Officer's Sword, 35.25" nickel blade, single edge, double fuller, with extensive decorative etching to approx. 13" of the blade, ...moreincluding an Imperial Eagle and crown on the obverse side. Spine is maker marked "F. Damaschke Hoflieferant Berlin". Overall length is 41.5". Gilded brass guard which starts as a single piece and ends three curved pieces at the basket. Flat pommel is marked with "D" monogram. Grip is covered in sharkskin with twisted triple wrapped gold wire, with leather fore finger loop. Bright nickel plated scabbard with two suspension rings. Blade is excellent with crisp etching and bright finish. Hilt displays moderate patina, light handling marks, and remains tight to the blade. Sharkskin shows typical light wear and wire wrap remains secure. Fore finger loop shows expected wear and age cracking. Scabbard has been renickled, applied over intermittent minor surface blemishes, no dents, one of the suspension rings is misshapen. Est.: $700-$900.

Prussian Lion Head Cavalry Officers Damascus Blade Sword, 31.75" triple-etched and gold washed Damascus blade. Obverse side of the blade with a Prussian eagle and crown, ...morewith the motto "With God for King and Country". Reverse side of the blade with scroll patterns and "Eisenhauer / Damast-Stahl". Spine is marked "P.D. Luneschloss - Solingen". Hilt and backstrap with modest floral decorations and a jawless or half lion head pommel. Nicely detailed P-shaped guard with felt washer; langet features crossed cavalry swords on the front, and the back is plain. Sharkskin covered handle with twisted wire wrapping. Black painted steel scabbard with single loose suspension rings. Sword is fine overall, Damascus pattern is mostly visible, the exception being along the sharpened edge. Approx. 90% of the gold wash remains, with most of the wear being to the spine. Etched patterns and inscriptions are clear. Hilt has a pleasing uncleaned patina. Handle with minimal movement, sharkskin shows moderate age and wear, wire wrapping is secure. Scabbard retains approx. 75%-80% black finish, with light rust patina to the bare metal. Named Imperial German Lion Head Naval Officers Sword, 29.25" Damascus blade, obverse is marked "(crossed swords)/G. B&S"; reverse with Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie logo consisting of a king and knight's head. Gilded lion head pommel with red and green eyes, and mane that extends down the backstrap. D-shaped guard with oak leaf pattern. Folding clamshell crossguard with " (crowned) anchor. Backside of the crossguard is engraved with a name that appears to be "Elsusser" or perhaps "Elsasser". Ivory handle with twisted silver wire. Replacement scabbard with black finish and single loose suspension ring. Sword is very good overall, Damascus pattern is visible, with intermittent spots of darkening and mild pitting. Tip is sharp and there are no major blemishes along the edge. Hilt has a pleasing uncleaned patina, showing moderate wear to the gilding, and a few spots of darkening. Handle with some movement, showing normal yellow toning from age. There is a thin chip missing from below the lion's head, and another slightly larger piece from the front edge, above the ferrule. Twisted wire wrap remains secure. Scabbard is fair and paint was applied over old rust and blemishes, some now showing through in the areas of finish loss. No dents. Est.: $900-$1,200....more

Imperial German Lion Head Officers Damascus Blade Presentation Sword, 33" triple-etched and gold washed Damascus blade. Obverse side of the blade with scroll and floral designs against a gold washed background and reads "Kruger s/l Bredan / Frdl. Erg. Weihnachten 1892". Reverse side of the blade with similar patterns but the inscription translates to "For Honor and Duty Until Heart and Blade Break", and "Eisenhauer / Damast-Stahl". Spine is marked "Uniform & Militair Effecten-Fabrik Darmstadt". Hilt and backstrap are highly decorated and has a lion head pommel with red ruby eyes. P-shaped guard, langet features a portrait of a woman on one side, opposite side with crest for Kaiser Wilhelm II. Crossguard ends with a downward facing quillon that features a small lions head. Above the crossguard is a ferrule decorated in oak leaf designs. Sharkskin covered handle is triple wrapped in twisted wire. Scabbard is steel with two loose suspension rings. The inscription and portrait on the langet would suggest this sword was a gift from a woman to her significant other for Christmas in 1892. Sword is very good overall, Damascus pattern is partially visible, with intermittent spots of darkening and mild pitting. Approx. 50% of the gold wash remains. Etched patterns and inscriptions are clear. Hilt has a pleasing uncleaned patina; washer is present and shows expected age and wear. Handle with some movement, sharkskin shows moderate age and wear, wire wrapping is secure. Scabbard is covered with a light rust patina and has a dent on the reverse side, 12.5" up from the tip. It does not interfere with the blade coming in and out of the scabbard. Suspension rings move freely. Est.: $800-$1,200....more

Imperial German Lion Head Artillery Officers Presentation Sword, 31" nickel plated, etched and gold washed blade. Obverse is marked with gold scroll and two surnames "Her...moretzberg s/l. Gerdes", as likely presented from one individual to the other. Spine is marked "M. Neumann, Hoflieferant Berlin." Gilded hilt is highly decorated and has a lion head pommel with red eyes. Backstrap with plain shield surrounded by scroll patterns. P-shaped guard with floral patterns. Langet features crossed cannons on the obverse side; reverse with scroll patterns. Crossguard with scroll pattern and ends with a downward facing quillon. Above the crossguard is a ferrule decorated with oak leaves. Sharkskin covered handle is triple wrapped in twisted wire. Scabbard with black paint finish and single loose suspension ring. Sword is near excellent overall. Blade is bright, etching crisp, showing mild wear to the gold wash. There is one minor spot of flaking to the nickel finish on the obverse, near the ricasso. Hilt has a few spots of wear to the gilding, otherwise displaying a nice mild patina. Sharkskin with a few light handling marks, handle fits tight to the blade, and the wire wrapping is secure. Scabbard rates fair to good, showing considerable loss of the black paint finish. Obverse side with a moderate dent located 4" up from the tip. It does not interfere with the blade coming in and out of the scabbard. Est.: $900-$1,200.

Antique Signed Koto Period Japanese Mounted Wakizashi Short Sword

Antique Signed Koto Period Japanese Mounted Wakizashi Short Sword - Antique Signed Koto Period Japanese Mounted Wakizashi Short Sword with a signed 14.5" (36.8cm) shobu-z...moreukuri blade. Signature reads: "Mihara ju(nin) Muneshige". Muneshige was working in Bingo province around 1521. Tang is original length with one mounting hole and has a nice dark rust patina. Blade has an irregular gunome hamon temperline consisting of nioi and a medium long turn back boshi at the tip. Habaki is a copper two-piece type with a thin gold wash. There is a small folding flaw on one side of the kissaki point. Hada is a bit hard to see but appears to be a tight small mokume wood grain style. Blade is fitted in buke-zukuri mounts, with a black lacquer painted saya having pockets for kozuka and kogai, but no accessories are present. Unsigned tsuba is a dark copper or shakudo round plate decorated with many small chrysanthemum flowers and fitted with a thin copper rim. There is one gold foil covered copper seppa spacer under the habaki. Tsuka handle is covered with small nodule rayskin and wrapped with blue silk ito cord. Kashira is made of polished black horn. Fuchi is made of copper with decorations of gold pine needle bunches and a silver crescent moon. It is unsigned. Menuki are birds on waves done in shakudo and gold. Condition is good, the blade showing an old professional polish with minor rust spots, stains, and minor scratches. No edge nicks. Blade has the small folding flaw near the tip as noted above. Tang is original length with a nice dark patina. Signature is partially obscured with rust, but easily discernable. Habaki shows age and wear to the gold finish. Gold foil on the seppa is worn and flaking. Tsuka shows age and soiling to the blue silk ito cord, but overall is sound and intact. Horn kashira has a small chip near the top edge. Saya shows losses to the wood body near the mouth opening, chips and losses to the black lacquer paint, splits in the wood body at the edge seams, and is missing the sori-tsuna fitting where a sageo would have been fitted. It has rubber bands holding the saya together. Est.: $400-$700.

Stacked leather washer handle with a combination of thick and thin spacers; double brass hilt with Duraluminum end cap. In an original brown leather roughback sheath with brown "Randall" buttons. Backside is stamped with Randall logo and "1-8", includes an unmarked gray sharpening stone. Knife is in very good condition. Blade has been refurbished and displays scattered tiny salt and pepper blemishes; makers stamp is crisp. Handle with scattered moderate dents and scratches from handling. Winchester Model 94 John Wayne Commemorative Lever Action Carbine, #JW30977, .32-40 Win. cal., 18-1/2" round barrel, blued finish with antique pewter colored receiver, barrel bands, and large loop lever. Checkered oil finished straight grip walnut stock and forend with blued steel carbine buttplate. Sights include a dovetailed blade front and standard sporting rear sight with elevator. Saddle ring is missing. Featuring standard commemorative embellishments for this model. Including "John Wayne Commemorative" on the barrel, facsimile of John Wayne's signature on the upper tang, extensive roll engraving to the receiver, and medallion in right side of the buttstock. Includes the original matching numbered box with polychrome sleeve, commemorative instruction manual, and other misc. factory literature. Condition is near excellent, retaining approx. 99% factory blue. There is a rub mark and a few handling marks to the lower right edge and bottom of the receiver. Factory lettering and engraving is crisp. Wood appears like new with sharp checkering. The barrel band shows a little flaking and rust along the back edge on the left side and bottom. Limited Edition Winchester/America Remembers Model 94AE "Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Pat Buttram" Tribute Lever Action Carbine, #6353629 and numbered "015 of 300" on bot...moretom of the frame, .30-30 cal., 16" round barrel with blued finish. Receiver, large loop lever, hammer, saddle ring, buttplate, barrel bands, and mag tube cap are finished with 24-karat gold plating. Receiver is decorated with extensive scroll work and portraits of each of the men. The left side reads "BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN". Gloss-finished straight grip walnut stock, elaborately laser-carved, again with scroll detail, portraits, and their names contained within a banner. Barrel features a blade front sight, and sporting elevator rear sight. Includes a custom wood display case with plexiglass top, and brass plaque on the interior. Rifle is in excellent condition, appearing as new, and likely unfired, with a few typical mild handling marks to the high polished gold surfaces. Crisp action; mirror bright bore. Colt Trans Alaska Pipeline Commemorative Single Action Army Revolver, Knife and Display Case, #91463SA, .45 Colt cal., 7.5" barrel, blue finish, checkered hard rubber two...more-piece Colt eagle grips, unfluted cylinder, blade front and fixed square-notch rear sight. Factory lettering is clear, marked "TRANS ALASKA PIPELINE: MILEPOST 463 OF 801". Mfg'd 1977. Revolver is excellent, retaining approx. 98%-99% factory finish, with light handling marks. Excellent grips and bore. Action is crisp. Includes wooden factory presentation case with key. Case has gold velveteen interior and satin lid liner depicting Alaska and the pipeline. Interior is in excellent condition, exterior shows numerous scrapes and scratches on the lid. Also included is a custom Kershaw fixed blade knife with relief engraved 5" blade, of a moose on one side and walrus on the other, dark smooth wood scales and numbered "463" to match the revolver. Receiver with extensive rodeo themed engraving to both sides; top is marked "BLUE DEF TOUR 2016 / 1 of 20 / SAN DIEGO, CA." The straight grip walnut stock and forend also have extensive rodeo themed engraving and there is a PBR logo on left side of the buttstock. Sights include a brass beaded blade front and semi-buckhorn rear. Includes original box, inspection tag, and misc. factory literature. The engraving was done by American Legacy Firearms to commemorate the 2016 PBR Tour. It appears that only 20 rifles were produced for each city that the tour stopped in, this being for San Diego, CA. Scarce Matching Cased Set of Colt Carolina Charter Tercentenary (1663-1963) Single Action Revolvers: 1.) Single Action Army, #349CCT, .45 LC cal., 5.5" barrel. 2.) Frontier Scout, #349CT, .22 LR cal., 4.75" barrel. Both revolvers have a blue finish with gold colored trigger guard, backstrap, hammer, trigger, base pin, and ejector rod tip. Smooth wood grips with gold Colt medallions. Barrels are marked on the left side "1663 CAROLINA CHARTER TERCENTENARY 1963". Includes the original wood two-gun display case with fitted red interior, Colt, and commemorative markings on the lid. Both revolvers appear unfired and retain approx. 99%+ factory blue with mild handling marks to the gold grip frames. Grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks. Bores are mirror bright. The ejector rod housing on the Single Action Army shows some intermittent mild spotting to the finish, possibly from being stored in the case. Marked with makers name and address on top, "Ned Buntline Commemorative" at left, and "Colt New Frontier S.A.A. .45" at right. In the original hardwood display case with inner glass display window, and a pull-out drawer lined with burgundy velvet in the French style with space for the gun, with silver-finish Ned Buntline plaque, key, and six (6) silver dummy cartridges. Revolver is in near excellent overall condition, appearing unfired, no flaking or finish loss, with mild micro-scratching and handling marks which are not unusual for this type of finish. Factory lettering is crisp. Grips are like new with sharp checkering and details. Bore is mirror bright. Case interior and accessories are excellent. There are several scratches to the exterior.
