This unique 9-piece canister set manufactured in Rockford, IL by J.L. Clark Co. depicts the Dutch lifestyle countryside scenery including Dutch people with wooden shoes, ...moreducks & country living. The canisters are well used & somewhat stained but still have some life left. The large canisters are coffee, sugar, tea. The smaller tin canisters are nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, pepper, and ginger.

Lithographed spice tins were introduced in 1911. The tins tended to rust, so in the late 1900's spices were then bottled in plastic containers. Tins and Boxes are worn and show age.
