Please read all the auction Terms and Conditions carefully. 1) Payment for winning bids is due no later than 10 days after the end of the auction. After 2 weeks with no adequate response or communication from the winning bidder, Lunar Legacies reserves the option to charge your credit card which is on file with Proxibid. 2) The starting bid on every item in the auction will be approximately 50-75% of the minimum estimate. However, many items will carry reserves which will not be met with just a starting bid. 3) If you wish to participate in the auction via the internet, please allow 5-10 minutes to download the necessary Java update required to run the auction on your computer through Proxibid. You may miss an auction item if you do not allow time for this requirement. 4) Seller or consignment fees are 10%. 5) Buyer fees for floor, mail-in and telephone bids are 10%. It was removed in December 1999, meaning that this section flew approximately 1.5 billion miles in space. This one is number 6 of only 17 this size produced and is in new condition with its box.

Vintage Mercury Clock With Spacecraft in Orbit as Second Hand

Lot # 59 (Sale Order: 66 of 476)

A vintage Mercury-era clock measuring 5.5" tall, 4" deep and with a 4.75" diameter face. All the parts are there but needs a little work. It does run when plugged in, meaning the Mercury spacecraft orbits the Earth as the second hand, but the face does not light up into a blue space glow. Additionally, there is a crack in the heavy plastic at the top, but it can be pressed back into position and held with glue. Otherwise quite uncommon.

It has been brought to my attention at the last second that this lot could be from Gemini 2 instead of Gemini 11. A small 1.75" long piece of heat shield from the Gemini 11 mission, and given to a woman in Administration after the mission. Nice condition.
