Lot # 78 (Sale Order: 76 of 262)      

Lot consists of two U.S. Model 1917 steel helmets with solid bale rivets.  Both examples retain their leather chinstraps with one example retaining its liner with oilskin sweatband.  Both marked on interior brim with "ZC176" manufacturer stamps. 

**Fair condition overall with wear to paint and liners consistent with age and use.**

Pair of U.S. Model 1917 Fencing Gloves

Horsehair gloves with shellacked fiberboard gauntlet backed in felt.  Both gloves show Stall and Dean maker's marks along with 1918 production date.

**Very good condition overall.  Some minor darkening and light staining of gloves.  Some scratches and wear to gauntlets.  A fine example of these rare items.**

37.5" x 6.125".  Canvas construction with four BAR magazine pouches and four 1903 pouches.  Lift-the-dot closures with non-puckered bottoms.  Interior marked with Plant Brother's manufacture stamp, model, and "9-1918" production date.

Gunner's Belt with four BAR pouches and two 1911 pouches with non-puckered bottoms and lift-the-dot closures.  Rear of belt marked with "LONG" with "4-18" and "5-18" dates.

**Fine condition overall.  Very little wear to edges and seams.**

**Spanish Astra Model 1921 (400) PIstol

Lot # 91 (Sale Order: 89 of 262)      

9mm Largo/.38 caliber, 6" barrel, S/N 77326.  Blued finish with checkered wood grips.  Slide marked with Astra crest.  Frame shows serial number and "UNCEETA Y COMPANIA/GUERNICA ESPANIA" along with model designation and caliber.

This particular piece was manufactured for the Spanish Army between 1937 and 1938, the height of th Spanish Civil War, with a production during that time of just over 15,000.  

**Good condition overall, some evidence of factory refinishing.  Grips are in good condition with no major cracks or splits.  Mechanically fine with a good bore.**

**Francoist Spanish Astra Model 1921 (400) Pistol

Lot # 92 (Sale Order: 90 of 262)      

9mm Largo/.38 caliber, 6" extended barrel, S/N 91858.  Visible numbers matching.  Blued finish with checkered wood grips.  Barrel shows Astra crest.  Slide marked with serial number, model, and caliber.  Slide further marked with "UNCETA Y COMPANIA/GUERNICA ESPANIA".  Frame shows serial number and IAC import address.  Left side of trigger guard shows late Francoist Spanish acceptance marking.

This particular pistol was manufactured in 1940 and sent to the Army Armory in Madrid as part of a shipment of 1,500 pieces.

**Good condition overall.  Most of the blued finish remains with some scratches and wear from age and use.  Action is tight with a good bore showing visible edges to rifling.**

**Model 1903 Springfield Mark I Rifle

.30-06 caliber, 24" barrel, S/N 1056030.  Blue finish, with walnut stock and handguard with "DAL" in a rectangular box.  Receiver slotted for Pedersen Device.  Receiver marked "Model 1903 Mark I".    Barrel marked near the front sight base "SA" over flaming Bomb and dated "8-19". 

**Finish is in good condition with some minor wear on sharp edges.  Stock shows minor handling marks and blemishes.  Overall an excellent Mark I rifle.**

**Springfield Model 1903 Rifle

Lot # 94 (Sale Order: 92 of 262)      

.30-06 caliber, 24" barrel, S/N 1180728.  Blue finish, two bolt stock with finger groove.  Barrel dated "SA/[flaming bomb]/1-20".  The rails are polished which would indicate special lapping of the barrel, there is no star marking on the muzzle.  "DAL" cartouche in a rectangular box, firing proof circle "P" behind the triggerguard.  Checkered steel butt plate with trap.  Original leather sling. 

**This rifle is excellent condition retaining nearly all of the original blue finish.  Stock is excellent with nice untouched opened-grained wood.  Cartouches are excellent.  Bore is bright and shiny.  A very hard to find service rifle in this condition.**

**Rare Transitional Springfield M1 .22 Rifle

Lot # 95 (Sale Order: 93 of 262)      

.22 caliber, 24" barrel length, S/N 20232.  Blue finish with walnut stock.  Receiver marked "U.S. Springfield Armory M1922 M1 Cal 22".  Lyman receiver sight.  Left side of barrel marked "Long Rifle cartridges only". Receiver was drilled and tapped for a scope the screws on located in front of the the M1922 markings.

One of less than 200 rifles made in the Transition period from the 1922 M1 rifle to the M11.

**All metal has nearly all of the original blue finish. The stock has nice untouched open-grained look. Overall this rifle is excellent.**

.22 caliber, 24" barrel, S/N 14389.  Parkerized finish with walnut stock.  Receiver marked "U.S. Springfield Armory M1922 M1 cal 22".  Receiver and barrel drilled and tap for scope blocks.  Parkerized finish.

Springfield Rifle model 1922 MI is a very late transition MI/M2 service stock which was originally one of the early service stocks with trap in the buttplate.

**Barrel and receiver retains most of the parkerized finish.  Stock is excellent.**

**Springfield Model 1903 NRA Sporter Rifle

.30-06 caliber, 24" barrel, S/N 1366813, Blue finish with NRA stock with two stock bolts.  Lyman rear receiver sight.  Barrel dated behind the front sight "SA/[flaming bomb]/10-30".  Left side of receiver has been drill and tap for a scope mount and has been filled in and reblued.  More than likely reworked for DCM sales. 

**Bore is very good bright and shiny.  Stock is very good and has a small Dutchman placed along the left side of the receiver, Nice job.  Stock has nice dark open-grained look.  Overall a very good NRA Sporter.**

**Bannerman 1903 Sporter Rifle

.30-06 caliber, 24" barrel, S/N 236390.  Blue finish with walnut sporter stock.  Receiver marked "U.S. Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903".  Barrel marked behind the front sight "RIA/[flaming bomb]/8-13".  Lyman receiver sight, also has a special rear sight mounted on the back of the cocking piece.  This rifle is one built by Bannerman for sales.

**Good condition overall.  Some minor wear to working parts and sharp edges.  Stock shows some handling marks and blemishes to stock.  Bore is in good condition with visible rifling.**
