WWII German Kriegsmarine Officer's Dagger by Alcoso

Lot # 155 (Sale Order: 153 of 262)      

10" blade with double fullers.  Blade etched with ship and fouled anchor.  Late Alcoso maker's mark on forte.  Brass scabbard.

**Blade shows some scattered scratching.  Fittings are tight with red washer intact.  Scabbard is possibly a replacement.  Button sticks which makes drawing somewhat difficult.**

10" spearpoint blade with etched maker's mark of Cark Eickhorn used from 1935-1941.  Plated fittings with orange grip.  Includes portepee and velvet-backed hanger.

**Some even tarnishing to fittings with some discoloration to rear.  Blade is bright with some minor scratches.  Some wear to portepee.  Hanger clips are almost certainly replacements.**

Lot of Two WWII German Belt Buckles

Lot # 167 (Sale Order: 165 of 262)      

Lot consists of one German SS belt buckle marked with "RZM" and "SS" stamps, as well as "155/40" marking of F. W. Assmann & Sohne, Ludensheid.  Accompanying the belt is an old SS paper label with correct "M 4/39" stamp, indicating manufacture by Assmann & Sohne.

Lot also includes one steel Heer (Army) buckle with tropical webbing support tab.  Buckle is marked under catch "N.&H. 1940" indicating manufacture by Noelle & Hueck.

**Good condition overall.  Some flaking and wear to finish of SS buckle on edges.  Heer buckle shows a darkening of its original green paint due to age with some imperfections.  Some minor rust present.**

German Third Reich Spanish Cross in Bronze with Swords

Lot # 169 (Sale Order: 167 of 262)      

2.25" x 2.25".  Bronzed tombak construction with soldered eagles.  Pinback type with "L/21" LDO marking of Foerster & Barth, Pforzheim.

The Spanish Cross, awarded to members of the German "Condor Legion" who fought in Spain with General Franciso Franco's Nationalists, was given in three classes.  This bronze grade would have been awarded to a member who had served in frontline combat, with just over 8,400 being awarded.
