New CZ 75 Compact D 9mm Luger Semi-Auto Pistol

Lot # 3 (Sale Order: 3 of 355)

Serial #F313696. At 5" tall with a barrel length of just under 4", the Compact model shaves a little more than 3/4" off the length and about 1/2" off the height of the full-size CZ 75. Its reduced size allows it to readily disappear under regular clothing. The CZ 75 DA/SA action with a manual safety lever provides the user with two options for carry: hammer-back with the safety on for single action operation or manually decocked for a double action first shot with no need to remember to take off the safety before firing. Because the 75 Compact retains the steel frame of the original 75, only 2.4 oz of weight is lost, making it the softest-shooting compact in the CZ 75 line. Ithaca 37 Featherlight 12 Gauge Pump Action Trench Shotgun

Lot # 18 (Sale Order: 18 of 355)

Serial #371408569. Ithaca Gun Co sought a gun of this type to keep pace with its two major competitors. In 1937, Ithaca introduced its first repeating shotgun, the Model 37. The design differed from most other slide action shotguns as the shells were loaded and ejected from the bottom of the receiver rather than ejecting from the side receiver found on competing designs. With increasing odds that America would enter the raging war in Europe, Ithaca began their design of the "trench gun" in 1941. This particular shotgun is NOT a WWII production shotgun but it has all the features. A 20" barrel, parkerized finish, metal ventilated barrel guard, brass bead sight, checkered wood stock (not original), ribbed wood foregrip, crossbolt safety, and bayonet lug with a US 1918 stamped bayonet. This shotgun does show some wear and scuffs in the finish, and as mentioned, stock is not original. Could use a thorough cleaning but otherwise appears to be in great condition. Please note - rifles by this consignor were stored with a cosmoline like protection and may need thoroughly cleaning. (C&R accepted)

US Navy 1944 Norden Bombsight MK 15 Model 7

Lot # 21 (Sale Order: 21 of 355)

Once a Classified high precision piece of equipment for WWII bombers. A Norden bombsight was used to drop the well-know "Fat Man" and "Little Boy" bombs. The Norden bombsight was used by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) and the United States Navy during World War II, and the United States Air Force in the Korean and the Vietnam Wars. It was an early tachometric design that directly measured the aircraft's ground speed and direction, which older bombsights could only estimate with lengthy manual procedures. The Norden further improved on older designs by using an analog computer that continuously recalculated the bomb's impact point based on changing flight conditions, and an autopilot that reacted quickly and accurately to changes in the wind or other effects. A crucial piece of history that led to the success of USAAF campaigns during WWII. This great historic piece comes with the Aircraft Instrument calculator, 1943 Restricted Military Maintenance and Calibration Manual and Training films on DVD. This unit has been in storage from this collector for many years and has not been tested.
