Waffenfabrik Mauser C96 7.63x25 Broomhandle Semi-Auto Pistol With Wood Storage Stock

Lot # 26 (Sale Order: 26 of 355)

Serial #183393 (Circa 1912, Serial matching to all parts). The Mauser C96 that Winston Churchill carried into battle is one of the world's most iconic firearms. Immortalized in movies, this lends the gun a distinctive and rakish, almost literary, style. Designed around 1893 by the three Federle brothers at Waffenfabrik Mauser in Oberndorf am Neckar, Germany, the C96 was revolutionary for its time. The recoil-operated C96 featured a tilting-lock breech, 5.5" barrel, rear adjustable notch sight, front blade sight, original ribbed wood round grips, lanyard ring and a 10 round capacity loaded into an integral magazine from the top via strippers (not included). Nicknamed the "broomhandle" from the distinctive rounded grip, but this pistol offers a shoulder wood stock that slides easily on the back of the pistol grip. This wood stock also serves as a storage box for the pistol. This Mauser does show wear in the finish, but all actions work smoothly. Please Note: This has been heavy "greased" from the owner for collector storage, a thorough cleaning would be required if before use. (C&R accepted)

RARE 1940 Mauser P.08 Luger 9mm German WWII Pistol With Death Skull Stamped Holster and Barrel

Lot # 41 (Sale Order: 41 of 355)

ALL MATCHING SERIAL NUMBER #1018. Super Rare! Appraisal Letter Indicates the Following: The 1940-42 code Lugers were accepted with E/655 stamp (in the right side of the receiver) and received the late Army test proof. Archived records indicate that 135,700 Lugers were produced during 1940. 30,000 of these went to the Luftwaffe, 3,000 to Kriegsmarine with N or O property markings and the remainder were not marked with any distinguishing marks for the Army or other military force. This particular pistol has non of those markings. RARE Grips! 1915 Deutsche Waffen Mauser DWM Long P 08 8" Artillery 9mm Luger Semi-Auto Pistol With Holster

Lot # 42 (Sale Order: 42 of 355)

Serial #3875 (75 stamped on all the major components). Stamped 1915 on the top of the frame, script "DWM" on the slide, "Gesichert" under the safety, and crowned proof marks on the right side of the receiver. This is a Long P 08 Luger, also known by collectors as the "Artillery Luger". The model was originally issued to field artillery, airmen and fortifications. The model had a longer, 8" barrel and was equipped with more precise sights than the standard P 08. Later, it was designated for use by Sturmtruppen and other assault forces trying to breach the trench lines. It was the first Luger to use the 32 shot snail magazine (NOT included). With its "Fine Tuning" front and rear sights, this pistol was probably second to none in long range accuracy among the Great War issued sidearms. Includes magazine with a different serial number. The finish is worn in some areas and does show some light pitting in the barrel and business end but otherwise appears to be in good condition. Includes a R.Larsen Berlin SW48 1936 leather holster. The U.S. Model 1918 Mark I Trench Knife was the second major Knuckle Knife to be officially adopted and issued to the US military. The knife was manufactured in the United States by Landers, Frary & Clark (L.F. & C.). The U.S. M-1918 Mark I Trench Knife is easily identifiable due to its large brass knuckle style guard and grip. This knife is 11.75" overall length, with a 6.75" dagger style blade. The brass grips are marked "U.S. 1918 L.F & C."
