Morris has combined beautiful hand-carved wildlife scenes along with quality craftsmanship to create another grandfather clock. We've seen Morris's grandfather clocks in the past and they have sold for up to $30,000! Made from walnut and rosewood, Morris's original art-carved scenes are found throughout. The eight-day movement is a German-made Kieninger with a cable-driven triple chime, moving moon dial and three manual melody selections. This clock is a very special unit. The clock dimensions are 19" x 32" x 94". Morris has contributed more than $125,000 to the Elk Foundation's Business Partners in Conservation program.

Over a decade ago, Jim Stafford created this exquisite bronze in honor of the Elk Foundation's four founders; Charlie Decker, Bob Munson, Bill Munson and Dan Bull. Their dedication to the cause of American wildlife has led to an organization whose growth and accomplishments are unparalleled in the history of the American conservation movement. Over the Top depicts four bulls going over the top of a ridge, symbolizing the founders' role with the foundation. Six of these bronzes out of the small series of 10 were auctioned at the national conventions with the last one selling in 1997 for $36,000. Jim had created only one artist proof in this series and the owner has donated it back to the Elk Foundation for its 20th anniversary.

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's 20th Anniversary painting, Family Tree; The Next Generation is the story of a particular bull elk. The dying bull elk stands before the massive ponderosa, drinking from a stream. His body is gaunt and his head is bowed low under the weight of his hefty rack. In the season of his life, days are becoming shorter. In the foreground a calf-young and fresh-curiously inspects the scenery. Next to him sprouts a sapling ponderosa. "It's about the passage of time, the loss of one generation and beginning of another." Samuelson, a sculptor, artist and guide mines his inspirations from experiences at his favorite places. "We've only got so many years to experience wild places and things," he says. "These experiences become very precious to people." Hand Carved California King Size Bear Grass Bed By Misty Moun

Carved by Sandpoint, Idaho artist Tom Gonser, the "Bear Grass Bed" is a beautiful combination of Northwest native design and Tom's personal carving style. The bed itself has been meticulously handcrafted using carefully selected pieces of alder wood, purple heart and paduk. Beautifully placed throughout the carving are inlays of abalone shell, malachite and black onyx stones and polished copper. The incredibly lifelike grizzly bear claws are molded resins. The bear head design is a replica of a relief panel carved by a Tlingit artist and collected by historian, G.T. Emmons, between 1884 and 1893 near Sitka, Alaska. The original piece once graced the entrance of the chief's long house of the Kar-guan-ton clan of the Tlingit tribe. The other portions of the carving feature native Haida designs and some of Tom's own interpretations.

Last Light Hand Painted Saw By Dan Free

Dan Free is a self-taught artist. Although he has never had a showing, he has sold well over 100 paintings, most of which are done on saws. As a member of his local archery club, Dan painted a saw for the club's raffle, and from that day forward the orders just kept coming. Shoreline Showdown transforms an ordinary crosscut saw into a piece of beautiful artwork that features an in-depth and detailed wildlife scene. Dan has contributed more than $5,000 to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Business Partners in Conservation Program.

This special tag has been provided to raise additional funds for elk, other wildlife and their habitat, and is good for every open elk unit in the state. Utah provides quality elk hunts in limited-entry areas where numerous Boone and Crockett bulls have been taken. So far in 2003, 10 bulls grossing over 400 B & C points have been taken. Some of the outstanding elk hunting areas include Monroe Mountain, Indian Peaks, Pahvant and San Juan.

RMEF 2003 BGB MODEL 94 PROTOTYPE

This rifle is the prototype of RMEF's 2003 BGB rifle. The edition was made in a .44 Rem Mag caliber but this prototype was a .45 Rem Mag. This is truly a one-of-a-kind rifle. The rifle includes a full 11-round magazine capacity, 20-inch barrel, semi-fancy walnut stock and forearm, hammer spur extension, crescent butt plate and, of course, an attached saddle ring on the left side of the receiver, because that's what a cowboy needs. Bill Gamradt and Baron Technologies teamed up to create the beautiful 14-kt gold engraving.

The tops of this unique and rustic set of furniture are made of western juniper root with the legs selected from twisted juniper limbs. Creating furniture out of juniper root is a labor of love mainly due to the amount of time it takes to soak and pressure-wash embedded rocks out of the root. But the character of the wood is worth the time. RMEF silver medallions donated by the RMEF Warner Mountain Chapter are inlayed into the pieces. Byron and Chris are ranchers outside of Alturas, California. Byron is also a self-taught auctioneer and has auctioneered at many RMEF and Duck's Unlimited banquets.
