WWI Dreyse Model 1907 - "R.F.V. No.4309", 32 ACP, Semi-Auto Pistol, 218609

Lot # 101

This Dreyse Model 1907 (7.65 mm Browning) .32 ACP semi-automatic pistol was produced in circa 1913-1917 (circa WWI) and is stamped "R.F.V. No.4309" which identifies it as...more being used, after WWI, by the REICHSFINANZ-VERWALTUNG - Reich Finance Administration - which was subordinate to the Reich Finance Ministry during the post-WWI German Weimar Republic. This pistol sports (3) Crown /N test proofs stamps on the left side. SPECS: Blued finish, flat-sided frame with integral slide & grooved top bridge, slanted front slide serrations, brown checkered Bakelite grips with RM&M monogram oval cartouche embossed on each side, 3.6" barrel, concealed hammer, lanyard rings and 7-round blued steel magazine. CONDITION: This pistol is in nice condition with some various light wear, has a sharp bore with some light pitting and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Dreyse Model 1907 semi-automatic pistol was designed by Louis Schmeisser and produced from 1907 - 1915. It was named after Nikolaus von Dreyse, the designer and inventor of the Dreyse Needle Gun. The Waffenfabrik von Dreyse company was acquired by Rheinische Metallwaren & Maschinenfabrik Sommerda in 1901, although the Dreyse Model pistols were marketed under the Dreyse name. The pistol had an interesting feature for the time: when the gun was ready to fire, the firing pin projected through the back of the breech block serving as an early handgun-cocking indicator. The breech block is confined within a flat-sided frame with a bridge to carry the back sight and arrest the upper section of the slide. The recoil spring surrounds the barrel, enclosed in the frame and held by a collar engaging the front end of the slide through a spring catch. The Model 1907 was used during WWI by officers of the Austro-Hungarian Habsburg Empire and the Imperial German Army. In 1912, the pope's Swiss Guard acquired thirty of these pistols for use by officers and non-commissioned officers. During World War II, many of these pistols found their way into the hands of Norwegian resistance fighters. The Dreyse M1907 was never imported officially by contract into the United States; however, many were brought back by GIs following World War II. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders. 1986 U.S. Kimber Of Oregon M82 Government Target, 22 LR, Bolt-Action Single-Shot, GM015300

Lot # 102

This Kimber Of Oregon Model 82 Single-Shot Silhouette Rifle is marked "U.S." and was part of a 1986 U.S. Government contract for 10,0000 guns to be used as military train...moreing rifle. SPECS: Smooth walnut target stock with adjustable sling rail under the forearm, black rubber buttpad with spacers, 25" bull barrel with recessed target crown, grooved receiver top with mounted fully adjustable rear peep sight, front globe sight with post insert, barrel mounted scope bases and sling ring. This rifle comes in the original shipping box dated "1995" - no label. CONDITION: This rifle is in same-as-new condition with no wear, has a perfect sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: Kimber was founded as "Kimber of Oregon" in 1979 by Jack Warne and his son, Greg Warne, in the small town of Clackamas, Oregon. The Kimber of Oregon company was formed for the sole purpose of making and selling its "American Made" Model 82 rifle. While the first prototype Model 82 was actually completed by Jack Warne in 1977, it would take until January of 1980 before Kimber of Oregon, Inc. (KoO) was officially established at which time shipments of the Model 82 began. In November, 1986, the U.S. Army notified Greg Warne, then president of Kimber, of a contract opportunity. The United States and Marine Corps were looking for a new rimfire rifle to be used in three-position indoor matches and to train military marksmen. The contract would be for 10,000 rifles. Kimber Of Oregon was eventually granted two separate contracts to manufacture M82s to serve as the U.S. Military training rifle. This U.S. Contract helped to revive the then struggling company, but in the late 1980s, the company began to struggle again after a private stock offering fell short. In 1989, Kimber of Oregon was sold to Oregon timber baron Bruce Engel who founded WTD Industries, Inc. Engel had difficulty running Kimber and soon the company sought bankruptcy protection. In 1990, several former Kimber employees, including Dan Cooper, founded Cooper Firearms of Montana. In the mid-1990s, Kimber was reformed and today "Kimber Of America" manufactures a line of M1911-style handguns of excellent quality, as well as rifles. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders. Circa 1880s Walking Stick Cane Gun (30" Rifled), 410 Ga., Single-Shot

Lot # 103

This early walking stick/ cane gun dates to circa 1870-1885. The exact caliber chambering is unknown; however the rifled bore dimensions are consistent with a 410 gauge a...morend a 44 Magnum casing will sit loosely in the chamber. Please note - this gun was designed for black powder cartridges. SPECS: Curved brass handle, 30" barrel, 36" overall length, brass muzzle cap/ cocking hook and grip mounted trigger lever. CONDITION: This cane gun is in good condition for its age with some surface wear, has a sharp bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: In the 18th and 19th centuries, walking sticks were common accessories for gentlemen, and the rise in street crime led to the development of concealed weapons like cane guns. Cartridge-type cane guns are usually fitted to fire large, low-pressure handgun cartridges or .410 bore shotgun shells. The weapon is effectively just a barrel with an integrated chamber, manual ejection, a detachable firing mechanism, a rudimentary grip, and in some cases primitive sights. Cane guns have an abiding place in spy culture; a famous example appeared in Ian Fleming's 1953 novel Casino Royale in which James Bond is threatened with one during his contest at the gaming table with Le Chiffre. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders. 1977 Ruger New Single-Six Buntline (9.5"), 22 LR, Revolver, 65-19125

Lot # 105

According to Ruger's online serial number database, this New Model (with transfer bar) Single-Six revolver was produced in 1977. SPECS: Full steel construction with blued...more finish, 9.5" barrel, adjustable rear sight pinned to the channel, Patridge front sight, smooth walnut grips with silver/ black Ruger logo medallion inlays, grooved hammer and 6-shot cylinder. CONDITION: This revolver is in nice condition with no wear to speak of, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Ruger Single-Six is a six-shot, single-action rimfire revolver that was introduced in 1953 when westerns were popular in movies and television. Colt had discontinued the iconic Single Action Army prior to World War II, and few single-action revolvers were available to meet market demand for cowboy-style revolvers. Models produced prior to 1973 still operated the same way as the Colt SAA in that the hammer was half cocked to load and unload, and that the firearm was not safe to carry with all six chambers loaded due to the hammer resting upon the sixth chamber. A transfer bar was added to all models in 1974, at which time they were renamed "New Model" Single-Six. SHIPPING - We offer free shipping anywhere within the continental US. All firearms must be sent to an FFL (or C&R if applicable) regardless of age or caliber. This includes antiques & muzzleloaders.
