The 400 Series introduced for 1929 had many desired and updated features. This particular car was delivered new in Ohio. Pedigree picks up in 1958 when it was believed acquired by the 3rd owner. He then sold it to the current owner in 2004. The car has covered 12,644 miles and is mostly original throughout. The Interior is mainly original, with only the carpet believed replaced. The seats, headliner, door panels, dash and instruments are original and showing in very nice condition. Paint on the car is original and with the exception of a small rust spot on the rear, remains very presentable. The small rust hole was the result of a mouse nest found behind the rear seat, since removed! The car has new tires and tubes on all 4 wheels. Additionally it has dual side mounts and wire wheels, both factory options. This car is believe to also feature the "Royal" package that would include the wire wheels dual side mounts, bi-plane bumpers and built on rear trunk. The options continue on with fog lights, gold finished bezels on the instruments, walnut simulated dash finish, vacuum wipers, cowl lamps and clear vision front pillar posts.
Many historical documents included with the sale. Seaman Body Corporation Body Manual, original sales brochures, Owner's manual, photos throughout the car's history, title copies back to 1958 and Ohio license plates. A very special bonus, Jay Leno visited Minneapolis a few years ago and drove the car with the present owner. He was very impressed with the car. The car is missing one hubcap, aside from that it is a very strong, well-built and attractive car that will be a real joy for the lucky new owner.
