Terms Of Sale
Payment Terms: All prospective buyers are required to register prior to the Auction, or prior to bidding. All purchases must be paid in full before leaving the auction site. The method of payment is credit card, cash, cashier’s check, wire transfer, company or personal check which must be accompanied by a bank letter guaranteeing payment to Alabama Livestock Auction, Inc. No individual or group purchases will be removed from auction site until all outstanding amounts are collected. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.
Buyers Premium: A 10% buyer’s premium will be charged for each item purchased on site, 12% buyer’s premium for each item purchased online, $1000 max and $5 minimum.
Sales Tax: 1.5% sales tax will be charged on farm machinery and farm equipment only. 2% sales tax will be charged on Autos sales.
Warranties: All property sells “AS IS, WHERE IS” without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. There are no warranties as the quality character or condition of any of the items. The implied merchantability is expressly disclaimed. There is no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. The buyer shall not be entitled to any adjustment or allowance, damages or any other remedy or claim on the quality, character or condition of any item purchased. All descriptions and conditions of equipment are believed to be correct and have been conscientiously set forth by the owner. However, neither the owner nor the Auctioneers are responsible for any errors in description or condition. The equipment is available prior to the Auction for inspection. Buyers are responsible for their own inspection and or judgment as to the condition of the equipment when bidding. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR ADJUSTMENTS.
Buyer’s Responsibilities: Buyer assumes full responsibility for all items purchased when the auctioneer declares it sold. The new owner (Buyer) is responsible for dismantling equipment for transport. Alabama Livestock personnel will offer reasonable assistance in loading the buyer’s equipment. The equipment can only be picked up with a paid receipt from the office. Alabama Livestock Auction, Inc. is not responsible for security of items purchased, which include lost, stolen or damaged items. Items left on the premises are at his/her own risk. ALL EQUIPMENT MUST BE REMOVED BY MONDAY, MAY 1, 2023. ANY ITEMS NOT REMOVED ON OR BEFORE REMOVAL DATE SHALL BE DEEMED ABANDONED AND BECOME PROPERTY OF ALABAMA LIVESTOCK.
