Combatant award made of bronze from canons capture during the campaign. This example is dated 3 July 1866 and was awarded to soldiers who attended the battle of Hradec Kralove. The memorial cross for the campaign of 1866 was founded on 20 September 1866 by King William I of Prussia. It was awarded to all Prussian soldiers and officials who had taken part in a battle in 1866 during the German War or had crossed the border to an opposing state during the campaign.
