Item Description: Translate description
William Rose 1812 Cavalry Sword. This wonderful piece of history has the W.Rose mark stamped on the spine of the blade. Also has V/MTW stamped on ricasso (MTW being the initials of Marine Wickham, U.S. inspector of arms in Philadelphia). Guard is stamped 70. Grip is wrapped in leather. Blade length is 33" with an overall length of 38-1/4". Comes with scabbard.
