Some glass rubbing as shown. The Miners Dairy was established in 1902 by German immigrant Paul P. Maier (1867-1914) and his wife Sophia. Paul Maier died in 1914 after being trampled by a bull on his ranch, but his wife and sons Martin and George continued to operate the dairy. George Maier later moved to Oregon, but Martin Maier (1897-1967) continued to operate the dairy until his retirement in 1959.
