Overview of OLIVER EAST - ORIGINAL PAGE STUDY FROM 'TAKE ME BACK TO MANCHESTER'
Item Details
Shipping Costs: UK-£13.50, USA-£22, Europe-£22, Far East-£23. Oliver East is basically a fabulous artist, whose comics are very, very different from anything else you may have encountered. His work always has something to do with travelling, usually around a walk, usually a walk along something like a railway line. His work includes 'Trains Are … Mint', 'Proper Go Well High', 'Berlin And That', and his latest work, 'Take Me Back to Manchester'. It’s powerfully expressive and very different from what you might imagine from comics. Poetry in a few simple graphic lines. This is an original, signed study for a page from 'Take Me Back to Manchester' (2015), which is inspired by the 19th-century walk taken by an elephant and his keeper from Edinburgh to Manchester. A4 card, watercolour, brushpen and ink.
