WWI Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" Propeller. These planes were built by the Curtiss Aeroplane Company of Hammondsport, New York for use by the U.S. Army 1st Aero Squadron of the Aviation, Signal Corps in 1915. The propeller is in good condition with just a little clean up needed. It is marked with a shamrock containing the letters USA and it also has the number SC31255 (SC representing Signal Corps.) marked on the center. It contains 8 bolt holes and measures 96-1/2" long and 9-3/4" at its widest point. It is made of layered wood with copper attached to the edge of the wings. A beautiful display piece.
