The lineup consisted of a coupe, convertible and a new low windshield open roadster version called the Speedster. The new look of the 964 now featured new front and rear fascia work with a smooth aero look, integrated rocker panels and new cup style wheels. More luxury details were added to the already ergonomically refined interior. Mechanically the rear suspension was reengineered to coil over rear suspension and McPherson struts in the front. The engine displacement was increased from 3.2 to 3.6 litres, and the all new Tiptronic (automatic) transmission was introduced. These changes and upgrades made a tremendous improvement in the overall road manors of the 993. 1993 was the third year of production for the 964 series Porsches. The Speedsters were built in limited numbers both in narrow and wide body versions, less than 2000 worldwide. This beautiful 1994 Speedster is finished in Alpine white with matching white wheels. The factory interiors were basic and sparse, this one has optional air conditioning, power windows, radio and rare Recaro seats, although manual top was standard. With the top down, the 247hp flat six and the 5 speed manual transmission make this Black Forest roadster a blast to drive.
