The coupe and the plush Cabriolet, however remained the open car of choice for the refined sporty crowd. Reuter continued building superb bodies for Porsche, thus high quality cars with exact fit and finish rolled off the assembly line in limited numbers. This rare early 356 Pre A cabriolet is no exception. Thousands of hours were carefully spent restoring this car to better than new, and it shows. Finished in one of the most flattering colors, Pascha Red, with a tight fitting tan canvass top and tan leather seats. The attention to detail on this car is evident. Back in 1953 this simple little car was a state of the art filled with a lot of deluxe features, full instrumentation, Telfunken radio, padded dash, covered door panels, rear jump seats and insulated headliner in the convertible top. This 356 is equipped with the optional 1500S cc motor producing 70 HP. Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is included with this car as well.
