Nearly 120,000 were built during the 5 year production run. They came in both coupe and roadster version. 1965 was also the first year for a big block motor, 4 wheel disc brakes, and plusher interior creature comforts. They were great street cars and were very successful on the race track as well. This base model 327/300 is an outstanding example is NCRS Bloomington gold winner. It was also an “Export” model and was a highly optioned car. It came with metric speedometer in Kilometers, 2 spd power-glide automatic transmission, posi-traction, rear end, Power steering, brakes and windows, Black leather interior, tinted glass ,AM/FM radio, day/night mirror with backup lights and rare Teakwood steering wheel and telescopic column.
