This 1953 Mercury M-100 Jubilee Anniversary Edition has undergone a recent completed body-off nut-and-bolt restoration. This pickup still retains all of its original steel body panels including the running boards and Mercury hubcaps which were professionally reconditioned. The truck was purchased from a gentleman who owned it for 40 years; it spent most its life in the dry climate of Saskatchewan Canada. Prior to the restoration this truck was 95% rust-free. All body panels and frame components were sprayed in epoxy prior to finishing. It is powered by a period-correct 239ci Flathead 8-cylinder engine mated to the original factory-optioned automatic transmission and a modern trans-cooler was installed for better cooling. Every component on the truck was taken off and meticulously gone through. The Flathead was completely rebuilt from the bottom up and runs well. A new oak bed was installed with painted matching slate and stainless hardware. Brand-new Lester tires were fitted and balanced and the wheels were smoothed out and painted to match. The truck has all-new brake components and new bushings and wheel bearings all around. It also has a new interior including the headliner and the seat was reupholstered in red as it came from the factory. The single-stage urethane paint was done in the trucks original color. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
