Approx 4,000 Packards were produced per year from 1915 to 1923, with very few in original condition that are known to still be in existence.

Since this is a court-ordered Sale, and all vehicles are selling regardless of price, there will be some special terms. Buyer’s Premium is 10% ($500 minimum)and that will be added to all “hammer” prices. Internet Bidders may expect to pay an ADDITIONAL 3% to ProxiBid for their services. Sales tax will be collected in the buyer’s states according to local laws. There will be no “due diligence” or “cooling off” period. Ownership changes with the Auctioneer’s gavel. Please do your due diligence prior to bidding. ALL VEHICLES SOLD ABSOLUTELY AS IS-WHERE IS. NO EXCEPTIONS. No warranty of any kind whatsoever is being offered as part of any transaction, either express or implied. Condition of vehicles- These vehicles have been in a museum for years. Some are started and run regularly, most are not. Most were driven into the museum at some point, but we do not know which ones run and which ones do not. Most do not have batteries at this time. Although some have flat tires, we will pump as many tires up as possible. Many are missing parts, most notably air cleaners and side mounted spare tires. We will try to announce these missing parts, but do not guarantee that all missing parts will be announced. Most vehicles, except the restoration projects, have keys, and we will give them to you after the vehicles have been paid for._______ Initial
Ownership Transfer Paperwork: Paperwork will include a paid-in-full invoice from Tom Mack Auctions and a notarized bill-of-sale along a court order from a Federal Judge transferring ownership to the buyer, and declaring vehicle to be free of any and all liens. ______Initial
Removal of Vehicles from Museum- We will remove all of the vehicles from the building as they are sold. We will put them on the ground in the parking lot of the building. We will be glad to help loading the vehicles on your trailers or trucks as we are able. Winches are very highly recommended. All vehicles must be removed from the property by 3:00 PM CST on Tuesday, December 5 unless other arrangements are made.________ Initial
Optional Towing & Storage- Weil’s Wrecker Service (Steven Weil, owner), is literally next door to the museum at 3400 2nd Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35222, and their phone number is (205) 251-4060. They will move your purchases to their warehouse for $75/vehicle, and store them for $30/day until your transporter can arrive. This must be arranged directly with Weil.
